We certainly don't need a minority commision , the day we dont have fundamentalist . Majority Indians are not fundamentalists. Please don't play a part in creating more. We have other issues in life to handle. You think minority can convert majority by force... Ridiculous ... utterly ridiculous...

For the future of India
by GG on Sep 26, 2008 12:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India can never improve until the 70% of the people living below poverty line are raised to the mainstream and have good living standards and education. No good law can be enforced in India untill people are educated and aware of the same. Otherwise there will be severe humanitarian issues. This is one of the reason why India can't implement good laws like in US and Europe. We need to understand that the SC/ST's & OBC's constitute 80% of the poor people in India. They are getting suppressed by upper castes from thousands of years. Upper caste's doesn't like even giving some reservation to these poor people. So how can India become a developed nation. India will never improve until the upper caste feudals understands and act on this reality. Hinduism never allows the upliftment of the poor. This is the basis of people getting converted to other religions where they treat everyone as equals. Also Hinduism is not a religion by itself and its a way of life.

GG, First of all, tell us who are upper caste people? If you say,Yadavs,Buddhists Paswans, Singhs and Sonia's etc are upper castes, I full agree with you as they have been suppressing who were is against them . Muslims and Christians had been suppressing Hindus during pre-independence days. Psuedo-secularists, have been suppressing Hindus during the post-independence days. All Muslims and Christians have been getting enormous funding by the UPA government. In Karnataka alone yearly 80 crore rupees are coleected from Hindu tempoles and this money is used for setting up madarasas and haj subsidy. This exploitation of Hindus must stop if India has to progress.

Hi Ayesha Desai, "Hindus are getting persecuted only by Hindus" and not by any other religion. You can have an exploration about my above statement. I too aware about the Haj subsidy by governments. You need to correct ur statements in future. You are misleaded & brainwashed by the propaganda of VHP & BAJRANGDAL. ITS THE TAX PAYERS MONEY WHICH IS USED FOR HAJ SUBSIDY AND NOT THE MONEY FROM TEMPLE. Also its a very very small amount compared to the small money collected in temples. Also you need to explore about the mass corruption in Temple Trust which is forcing the Governments to appoint Administrators for Temple. I can give u one small example Sabarimala temple in Kerala. Its one of the richest temple in India and corruption is the major issue with Sabarimala. Rest of the money is used for the salary and maintenace of other temples in the Devaswom. Money is unnecessarily wasted for Utsavs and think about what will happen if its used for the welfare of poor hindus. Same is the case with most of the temples in this country. NO CHARITY , ONLY EXPENSES AND CORRUPTION.

Re: For the future of India

Hinduism should not be disturbed. I too totally agree with u. But its high time for Hinduism to change its way of functioning. Hindus must start doing CHARITY and UPLIFTMENT OF POOR. There is nothing called Charity in Hinduism. Indai will be better nation only by the upliftment of SC?Sts and OBCs and upper caste Hindus doesn't like this. Huge amount of cash from wealthy temples like Thirupathy must be utilized for the welfare of atleast poor hindus. Casteism must be abolished and harijans have to be brought to the mainstream. 70% of Indians are SC,STs or OBCs.

GG, You should know that all rich temples are controlled by state govts which are ruled by people belonging to OBC, SC and ST's. They are using temple money for setting up madarasa, haj subsidy etc. If you are not aware of it, give me your e-mail address, I will forward a copy of Govt. of Karnataka notification showing 90% of funds collected from Hindu temples being used for spreading of Islam and christianity by the earstwhile Congress govt when SM Krishna was the chief minister. Please do not write unless you know the facts.

with 80% backward people and more that 90% reservation in most states what discrimination are we talking about.....most of the states are ruled by either minorities or backward caste people....who are the forward castes causing discrimination now a days.....looks like the media and people are back dated to more than half a century.....

A close study will show that the discrimination is mostly by the backward to their own community and the past is rekindled to show the forwards as scarecrows...its the paki style of outlining India in the negative....

pity....god save india

Pope has lot of Hope in Bharath

There was a major change more recently, one that became clear when Pope John Paul II unveiled the document 'Ecclesia in Asia' when he came here in 1999. The Holy Father said on that occasion, 'The peoples of Asia need Jesus Christ and his gospel. Asia is thirsting for the living water that Jesus alone can give.' Can you blame Hindus for worrying after that?

Please note that during Portuguese rule when the Catholics made converts at the point of the sword. Hindus be alert and protect your religion and children

Religion is one of the fundamental rights everyone has. Whether for money or faith , its yours. You can believe in whatever you want .

Btw ... In case you think its money that's converting people , why don't you pay them and convert them back .

Eitherways , please get facts right . Origins of Christianity in India are over 2000 years. Please get facts right before passing comments.
