Nobody ccan escape natures fury. This is one way of nature getting back at us.My heart bleeds for the innocent children lying buried and those who have died. We destroy nature by drilling holes for oil, burning fossil fuels and denuding forests what else can we expect in return from mother nature.

Koran or no Koran, religion has nothing to do with earthquakes. Earthquakes have been occurring on earth long before any religion was conceived. They have been happening from the dawn of earth. From millions of years Koran and other religions were not even there then. Therefore Sod the myths or religion and come down to earth and reality.

Well said sheetal, Only when people are encountered with calamity, they think of god. Otherwise every act is self made. In china, value for human life is getting cheaper and cheaper. World has seen many mine accidents in china every year. Now it is turn of earth quake. I sympathise for the poor people.

what u are saying is true and is applicable to some peoples like Iraq,Afganistan,Africa etc. But Innocent people who died from earthquake are not goverened by the rules of your book.

But, God knows the truth about gujarat. He knows that those who killed moslem shopkeepers in gujarat after Godhra, were only pak infiltrators dressed as tribals, since they were not rioting enough against hindus having started shops only with counterfeit indian currency from pak! Musharreff could blame india in the UNGA appropriately. God will only punish those who are relly guilty, not those whom the paid-piper press blames.

Quite right. Besides Tibet, china has backed the miamar regime to exploit its monerals and fuel potentials without benefit to its people. Mianmar junta not even accepting foreign aid, for their strorm victims. Now, forces of divine justice are giving it back to china. Atheists might deny God, but they cant inactivate Him. Marxists of india should als remember this, as also pranab, their fellow-traveller in the UPA govt.
