muslims are creating population problems ? lol..
Muslims are only 15% of the population...their contribution to our huge population is minimal..its mostly all hindus WHO ARE ADDING TO THE BURDEN OF THIS COUNTRY.

Muslims have a somewhat higher growth rate, but its more because of lower levels of literacy amongst muslims...

Its all RSS and VHPs false propaganda ...

why left bangladesh and pakistan? once upon a time nepal, butan, tibet, bangla, pakistan were also integral parts of India. Now they are separated on their own. why should we bother about them? as they feel they want separate countries. India is already suffering from outsiders/invadors.

We should not join 2 help China. When any natural calamity did hit India, those Chinese ppl never showed any concern, never extended any helping hand. They always helped paki terrorists who r causing havoc in India. We should only use our scarce resources for needy Indian only

Its a big twist in China's eartyquake affected provi"nce. The reason is ofcourse natural but the Indians can learn from the consequences of Westernization and refrain from acts against gods and the mother nature afterall the whole world is a gift of the mother earth.

Quacks do not happen on the surface of earth wher man interferes with nature. it is a natural disaster which is unavoidable.
it has nothing to do with westernization, or acts against god.
It is god who created tectonic plates and it is god who moves them not man.
Brush up with your geology Puneet Kumar.

Ms Kaur,
U r only partially right. Tectonic plates r floating on molten lava, which is at the core of the earth. When man makes massive structurs on earth like dams( huge dam itself and accumulated water), clusters of high rise buildings in a seismoligically very active zone then that weight imbalance increases probability of quake. So it is very risk to carry out such activities near seismic fault lines or where thickness of tectonic plate is less... example terhai region of india, assam.

Even oil exploration rigs and nuclear tests also cause some sort of disturbance to tectonic plates

Yes I agree with you to an extent. but not all the way.
Tectonic plates do not move as much so as with weight it is the pressure of pushing of plates that causes the quack when the to plates pushes against each other the either one plate goes under each other or both plates rise above ground to create a mountain.
India and has been pushing against china and the result is the Himalayans range of mountains.
At the time when this range of mountains was created there were no dams,High rise buildings and no Oil or gas Explorations. etc.
Even as late as 1935 when Earth Quake in Quetta took place there were no high rise buildings and no dams.

U r right Ms kaur, regarding cause of earth quake. What i meant is that when huge man made heavy structures are built near active seismic fault line then due to the weight PRBABILITY of one tectonic plate going under another and as a result earth quake increases. I never said that quakes r only due to this and never said that there was no earth quake in older days when there was not much development.
As far as i know oil / gas rigs do not cause earth quake----depth of oil/ gas bearing sub-surface structures r nothing compared to the thickness of tectonic plates we r talking about. However oil / gas / coal mining activities do cause caving in of earth surface due to the vaccuam created if water injection / sand filling is not done along with extraction of oil / coal.

YA YOU ARE CORRECT BUT THINK OF TECHTONIC PLATES THEN THE WHOLE DECCAN PLATUE AND ANDAMAN SHOULD ALSO SUFFER FROM QUAKE.
