I believe this is the similar case of Iran. west is offering to Iran a very lucrative package if Iran stops the nuclear programme, and Iran rejects the proposal.
sameway, nuclear deal with India may restrict us to develop nuclear tests/weapon in future. As India is surrounded by nuclear countries, It is not in the favor of India to sign the deal at the cost of national security. there must be some reservations regarding our rights to develop the nuclear weapons in order to keep our country safe.

Dude. All major nuclear powers including the US are going to sign the Nuclear Test Ban treaty soon. So this issue is irrelevant.
The safeguards are only for uranium imports used in our power plants. It does not cover those for military purpose. It also gives a fillip to our nuclear program - 1. by accessing cutting edge technology and equipments 2. use of our local uranium reserves for our military purpose.
This is why China through the Left is trying to scuttle the deal.
The BJP's opposition to the deal is very different. They put their own selfish interests over national interests. They want the deal during their next tenure. Nothing wrong with that except that it maybe a long while for their next tenure!

so do you think iran is going to become super power or something .. atleast benchmark with a better nation .. deal is very good in present terms and its impossible to negotiate further coz both parties like to gain out of deal and a deal is never tilted to one side .. thumbs up to this deal :)

then do you think high oil prices, high inflation is in common man's interest .. already we are suffering so much coz of high inflation figure .. we have to take steps like nuclear deal to move forward .. dunno be a critics always in your life .. try n appericiate good things too ..
Communists were exposed long time back. When they were the informers of British rulers. In 1962, they support chinese aggresion against India. Millions of Bangladeshi in West Bengal are enjoying all the rights and threatening our country's internal security.
Also be carefull about Sonia and Sonia's feet lickers. Some thing hush hush is going on.
Left parties in India are sabotaging the nuclear deal for the sake of china. They are more worried about chinas interest than India's interest.this deal will give India energy security to some extent. The growing relation between India and America will benefit both our countries and check chinas hegemony. This is troubling Left parties. They keep mum regarding Chinas intrusion in Sikkim and Arunachala pradesh. They Talk about gas pipe line project involving Pakistan.(This country has fought 4 wars with India and have all weather friendship with china still in occupation of Kashmir like china). The lefts ideology is awesome to have cordial relation with failed state (Pakistan) and rogue & hegemony state(China).Left parties should talk only about these occupations not the India US nuclear deal which is beneficial to our countries economy.Long live communist parties in India.

This will not signal the end of the Nuclear deal - the deal will be signed.
This will however signal the beginning of the end of the Left. From 59 MPs, if elections are held today, they will be hard-pressed to even retain one-third. Then a year from now, they will lose both Kerala and West Bengal.
It might be also the end of Prakash Karat- the man who prevented Jyothi Basu to became the first Left PM!

dude sixth pay commission , farmloan waiver , continuing gdp growth , does not allowed to fall in exports even when rupee was appreciating , kool tax slabs, RTI act , national rural employee gaurantee scheme .. this governement has indeed taken lots of initiatives .. its just inflation rose to a great expent coz of high growth , hike in fuel prices and global reasons that they got a black spot on them, but not much was in their control over this .. i never voted in my life , but i m really impressed with chidambram during this govt's tenure ...

Dude. The nuclear deal is part of the long term strategy to reign in inflation by reducing dependence on oil.
There is no magic wand to reign in inflation as this is mostly outside the control of the government. Even OPEC has no control over oil prices. Its speculators led by Goldman Sachs based in US and London that is taking the world to the brink

60 per cent of power generated in france is nuclear, which is also eco-friendly. Your assumption, I am afraid, may be wrong.nuclear power will help in reduction of dependence on oil imports which in turn would reduce the inflation too.
Please do not believe the systematic canard spread by CPM that the agreement is indo u s ; it isnot. it is indo - n s g agreement which includes russia and of course not china, whose interests r dear to karath saheb.

Every thing is not alright. When impotent and feet licker people rule, the people of the country has to face consequences. Whether its inflation, terrorism, foreign policy or nuclear deal. So we are facing. Sonia, her kids and chamchas must go.

Are you out of minds Mr.Right? BJP is opposing the deal in the present form-it is not totally rejecting the deal!BJP wants India's sovereignity to be protected and is firm it is India who should decide whether to test a nuclear bomb in future and not USA!If USA is ready to scrap the application of Hyde act to this deal BJP will be the first to support it!

Don't worry Subbu:
Some people are "borrowing" my name to become famous on this forum... Very easy to pick them out. Click on their name and find out what they have been saying.... Click on mine to find out MY views on the subject...
Anyway, I personally think BJP is approaching the subject cautiously rather than dive headlong into the deal. Which according to me is the right approach.
Three issues for left parties to withdraw support. 1) Price Rice for Essentials and Petrol. 2) Rising Crimes against Common Man. 3) Farmer Suicides and Unemployment. These are the basic problems faced by common man it is the primary responsibility of the government and the parties supporting them to take primary responsibility for the above and resign or withdraw support. But the left has not even given a hint for withdrawing support for the above reason. I think they are objecting to US proximity rather than nuclear deal. People would appreaciate left and I personally if they take the resposibility of above problems and withdraw support

Hello my clone:
If nuclear deal is part of a long term strategy, then you should approach it appropriately.... I haven't yet seen a long term strategy being developed and implemented in a "do this OR IF".... "doesn't happen, I resign.." ... etc.. ;-)
It appears as if we are queing up to buy tickets for today's housefull show..... if I don't buy it JUST NOW, then I'm not gonna get it in my lifetime..
