PM is undemocratic and unelected
by Dipak Bose on Jun 26, 2008 06:34 PM  | Hide replies

How can it ruin India's reputation if the Deal cannot be acceptable to India? Man Mohan Singh never took the opinion of the country through any referendum or any voting in the parliament. Is it possible for the President of USa to do anything without consulting the Senate and the Congress, but Man Mohan Singh wants just that : to sign the deal with any approval from the Parliament.
Is this democratic. In fact, if India would go ahead, India's face will be blakened as none will believe that India is a democratic country. Because an unelected prime minisrer without consulting the country and the parliament is giving away its nuclear weapons. That would be real shame.

It was a cabinet decision which PM was implementing. He swhould have been stopped at the initial stage itself. Left had also allowed the govt. to go to IAEA, then how can they now take such rigid stand now after all the spade work is completed.Parliament need not ratify this as per our constitutional requirement.

CONGRESS TAKING THE PM & PEOPLE FOR A RIDE
by damodaran mohan on Jun 26, 2008 04:55 PM

The Congress spokespersons statements cannot be relied upon because they do not know what their leader is upto. SONIA GANDHI has let down the PM during HT summit also.Dr. MMS seems to have erred in understanding his limits and bitten more than he could chew by trusting his boss more than he should have. BJP charges about the PM-SONIA equation seems to be sticking.Undoubtedly The pair has made a mess of the whole thing. BJP will happily tell the people that they are incapable of taking any major decision and that image of India has sufferred in the international world.

N-Deal signing
by VIJAY DHANWADE on Jun 26, 2008 04:29 PM

It is a fooling people that it is going to sign the N-Deal. It only to divert the minds of people from inflation to this subject. If it has guts to, sign it and reply. Most of Indians are against this deal, which Congress is aware.

a PM without a vision
by Bob Seth on Jun 26, 2008 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

why is MMS not serious about common man issues like rising inflation, high cost of housing.Housing has been unaffordable for the last 3 years exactly 1 year from the time MMS became a PM .Has he put a single effort to contain housing cost in the last 3 years.Housing cost has increased the maximum when he was the PM. why doesnt he promote renewable sources of energy like wind solar energy. Why is he adamant on the US deal (there could be some ulterior motives). Nuclear Power will cost Rs 10 per unit when today a middle class indian cannot afford to pay Rs 3 per unit. Some years back a smart politician from maharashtra entered into an agreemnt with Enron at 6.50 Per unit later the completed project had to be scrapped because of the high cost per unit. Most of these agreements signed by NDA and Congress are against India's intrests. Indian crude Oil has been sold of at $20 to private players when international crude prices are $120. Congress does not want to tax the private palyers for windfall gains. One can imagine how much money the politicians are getting as kickbacks in thier foreign accounts.Once Nuclear deal is signed American companies will get contracts to set up reactors costing more than 1 lakh crores, that is where US and MMS intrests lies and our politcians will also laugh thier way to the bank. When these rogues sign agrement thier minds are closed and bank accounts open up.

Can MMS give a gurantee that power generated from the nuclear deal will be cheaper than t

Looks like you are one of those commies who are past their sell by date or else you are a stooge of Chinese. Till now we have not been able to get more than 50% of the actual power, so the question is that do we at all get more options or let the rest of the country stay in darkness

looks like you are one of the American dalals who feeds by siphoning away the public wealth of countries who are governed by oppurtunist politicians . You are hoping to revive the failed US nuclear industry by selling American nuclear reactors to India. American Dalal what happened to your Enron Dabhol Project why was it not put in operation to get our 50% of actual power, the intrest in signing agreements is to make big money on our side by the politcians and on the US side to make money by getting business for thier vendors. Did the PM put in any effort to revive the Enron project in mahrashtra.

before MMS is thrown out of office in another 6 months by the indian public MMS wants to gift the american nuclear insdutry 1 lakh crores. he wants to curse all indians by giving them power at 10 rs per unit (that is you pay 3 times your current power bill ).in the last 4 years the buffon economist was never bothered about the millions of the middle class who struggle every day to pay thier monthly housing EMIs.

Does the buffon economist know a simple 1 BHK accomdation in any of the suburbs of mumbai, banglore, delhi, pune cost Rs 30 lakhs . EMI works out to more than 30,000 Per month. So at the age of 30 he is in debt trap for his entire life. Just becasue the buffon economist never botherd about the speculation in the housing market.

You don't deserve to utter the name of Gandhi or Bhagat singh. You guys are better off with the names like Stalin or Mao.

True.
First the Communists must go.
They only own few seats from two states and are controlling the national policy on behalf of China.
