Who conducted genuine research and proved that the Angel gabriel actually spoke the prophet mohammed? I do not mean to disrespect your religion but basically all the three Abrahamic relgions(Christian, Muslim & jewish) have their facts wrong. Genuine research means you require some kind of proof, which unfortunately these relgions do not have and generally ask followers to have blind faith.

This claim is as stupid as the ones made by ismail
afghanistan became a fundamentalist muslim country, but a few centuries ago, it was a peaceful buddhist country
what happened there was the same as what is happening in india today
today, the buddhists there are reduced to a minority of less than 0.1%. their temples have been destroyed. the latest was the destruction of the bamiyan buddhas. many were killed. others persecuted. some managed to flee. so obviously the majority left were not buddhists.
with pseudo-secularists talking of appeasement of a section of the society, and terrorists openly flaunting their intentions with repeated bombings at temples and announcements, it is sad that we have not learnt from the lessons of the past and are busy with our own petty political and personal interests.
the lesson stares at us from afghanistan. if we find it difficult to believe that, kashmir in the recent past has seen exactly the same pattern. and now, other parts of the country - jaipur, delhi, bangalore, gandhidham, mumbai, hyderabad have all seen such terror attacks.
when will we realise whats happening ? it will be too late to act when it crosses an inflexion point.
the moderate muslims hold the key to the solution - by weeding out the hardliners. but for that they first have to realise that india is a better place to be than afghanistan, and its better in a multi-cultural society than a 100% islamic society.

actually movies and books that talk about the facts should not be banned - like salman rushdie's satanic verses, lajja by taslima nasreen, and a few about the truth about afghan taliban.
such books will help moderate muslims realise what is better for the future.
and our govt ends up banning such books and movies under pressure...

Hey read and understand ISLAM , if it's somethng you Hate badly . Why not spare a few moments and study about them honestly . Maybe you'll find something "VERY INTERESTING"

Why is that all muslims need to join organisations with the word "muslim" in it. Leave your faith for your private use join groups that represent causes and not religions.

Bodhi, go to the link I posted and read the article first before commenting. I think you god the wrong idea. The organization My India was started by some patriotic muslims to take on issues like SIMI in their community. They deserve support from all Indians.
The article talks about this MY India organization confronting the SIMI radicals in their community. We should all support that.

they have to realise that a multi-cultural india of 2008 is better than the 99.9% islamic afghanistan. better for them, better for the ladies of their house, better for the future of their children. the affluence they see in saudi is only because oil is the currency of the world for a few decades, and is not sustainable. ask a woman what she would like, and she will say freedom. so 49% of the women will anyway opt out of a 100% islamic society... but in a male dominated society, she doesnt have a voice. she cant even speak when she is ra p.ed...

How many Muslims have you seen who create problems. In your surrounding are there muslims living?. How many of them you see talking hatred, violence etc or acting rude against you or even looking at you with bad eyes?. Do you see any at all?. I am sure you do not. Kindly do not judge a religion or a community based on the media news or by a act of a handful. Live with them, understand them and then comment.
Understand the wider propganda created by the POWERFUL of the world. And see how they are using innocents to create an atmosphere. See and figure it out yourself what is happening to the States and People who oppose them.

be lucky you live in tolerant india, for you will be pampered by the pseudo secularists. for if a hindu had to say something like this in afghanistan or uae today, he would be dead...
