The problem is more deeper. An advisory warning will not help state governments. In Karnataka the Police came across evidence of a blast in Channapatna - 50 kms from Bangalore, a day earlier and recovered a car full of explosives. The State government did nothing. This despite a central government advisory to be on high alert - 3 days before the blast.
The Centre gave an advisory warning to Gujarat 3 days before the blast. Despite Bangalore blast, the State government did nothing. The Gujarat government instead commenting on the Bangalore blast boasted on TV that such terror strikes would not hit Gujarat.
Instead of mainstreaming disgruntled sections of society - Naxalites, Muslims etc, the BJP and Hindutva follwers isolate them further. As long as this happens, POTA or even a stronger law will not help.
The Gujarat government complain that Central warning was not actionable. OK. Now that the blast has taken place, can they crack the case and bring the terrorist to book. At least if they do that, there is some hope.

When SIMI was banned during BJP regime, Mulayam Singh Yadav had given it a CLEAN CHIT. He was the CM of UP at that time & "mullah" Mulayam found no fault with SIMI. Years after its the same SIMI which has killed & maimed hundreds in Ahmedabad & Bangalore. Mulayam is lucky, his son has not been killed in these blasts but he must see the wet eyes of the father who could not see his own son's mutilated body.People like Mullah Mulayam deserved to be asked how many more Hindus will be killed because of their appaeasement policies towards the muslims.
Purchase of Ammonium Nitrate must with a valid ID. Each bag should have serial number fed into a central computer database. (Sellers can forward handwritten slips to distrubutors for entry every 15 days). Trace elements/impurities should be added to identify source of procurement. This will not prevent immediately, but will help in detection of source and aid future investigation.

Kindly equate 'fertilizer' with 'farmer'. Then check out the proportion of Indian population involved in agriculture. Would you hold 50 crore Indians on suspicion when there is a blast next.

what if they have authorized factories producing them illegally. I dont think the formula to prepare the substance is very hard. To curb this problem the root cause has to be found...our agencies have to be sincere...you cannot treat the problem ignoring the causes. We have some of the best minds in the world.Unbiased and corruption free withoth any communal favour our agencies must investigate...it is certain you will find a nexus between such incidences and our BELOVED politicians..they are capable of doing any thing.
I deeply condemn whatever is going on at present in India. But just imagine which political party / politician is gaining most from these blasts. These people are experts in ruling over dead bodies. They have been doing this successfully since mid 80's. Whatever is happening now is after effect of that. The right-wing parties have already started projecting themselves as Savious of India and Hinhus, whereas in fact thety are responsible for all this happening today. With every blast they see themselves closer to the PM seat, whoever might have done that. However I deeply condemn this cowardly act of some misguided persons. What I suggest is that since 99% of both sides are peace loving, the other fundamentalist one percent from both sides should be packed in some remote jungle and left to fend for themselves and decide who is more wicked and cruel. Let them all explode as many bombs between themselves. But please spare the innocent, whoever he may be.
