Myth #14: The deal is not primarily about making money; it is about creating a new U.S. strategic relationship in south Asia.
Fact: The deal is primarily about making money. The main effect of the deal will be to pardon India – to remove it as a violator of international norms. After such a change in status, there will be no impediment to U.S. arms sales. This is where the real money is, not in nuclear reactors. U.S. exporters have mentioned selling as much as $1.4 billion worth of Boeing airliners, hundreds of F-16 or F/A-18 fighter jets, as well as maritime surveillance planes, advanced radar, helicopters, missile defense and other equipment. The Russian press has even complained that the nuclear deal is a ploy to squeeze Russia out of the Indian arms market.

"Whatever I have done in this high office I have done with a clear conscience and the best interests of my country and our people at heart. I have no other claims to make," he added.
Like taking votes of convicts, giving Msulims first right to nation's resources, indulging in horse trading. Yeah right!

u r very good brother....but take other area in considering..the biggest issue is nuclear power now, which is must have. Keep everything side and fight for good and progress...not the old issues..why we fight over old issues always :(..i am very happy that they pass trust vote, so lots of money is saved on elections. and in below part Mr. Alam Wazir is saying about america..We are not like in 1900 now..and we are two biggest developing contries. Remember this we will be super power in next few decades..We all will take care of our religion and also support the country. this is for zohra javed also, whoever wins no problem, except they should do good for the nation. I am happy here that everybody is literate and providing there comments and making us little knowledgable..thanks to all..Lets think that these people will do something good out of this..one more mentioned about Raj..he is totally right..roads have made wonders to US and china and will happen soon for india. he is not a cocaine dealer...don't bring useless analogies....the fact is that the commies have been thoroughly annihilated and it is good for the nation
This just goes to show that whoever is against America is doomed. America provided enough money to make sure that the confidence vote was in favor of the UPA govt. America always wins in the end. Now, only problem is that since America is going to take control of India, I would like to convert to Christianity. However, I read in Bukhari's hadith that if I try to leave Islam, it is punishable by death. Can someone help me convert to Christianity? Please help. Thanks.

yeah...ask ur dad to change his name from yusuf to joseph...or from ibrahim to abraham...and then ure a christian by birth....woohooo
Manmohan Singh may be singing "singh is king...", and the congress may win the next election too...on its own...modi has also won elections with convincing margins after the gujarat carnage...but surely congress has lost on its credibility...
upa has so far done nothing to talk about - no infrastructure stuff. the nuclear deal will yield the results 20 yrs later. no need to go gung ho now. half the work was done previously. the victory is Pyrrhic at best. good that the left is off the back.
now at least they can invest in the road building which has done wonders for china and usa. but upa stopped the quadrilateral work to a grinding halt. can never forgive what upa did to the roads. they stopped 5 years of development.

I am looking forward to my dream that one day nationalistic govt. with all the best brains of all parties will rule India, instead of going for confidence vote every now and then, wasting precious time and money of the Parliament/ people. Infact, it could have been a very good opportunity for BJP and Congress to come together to uphold the govt. atleast on the issue of nuclear deal. The UPA Govt.'s existence was threatened not because of BJP but due to Left parties, and basically I do not think BJP is against the nuke-deal or reforms!
