I really dont mean to say that sentence, but I am unhappy that this deal will go through. Probably some will make money - but why compromise the whole nation for it.
I would still like to know both Pros and cons from absolutely thoughtful minds like you about why India should be part of this deal and in simple terminology. Ofcourse I wont believe in everything govtof India says to its people.
if 1 Ambani can build such huge wealth in 1 life time, if 1 Gandhi can take so many religions and castes together - cant we build our own reactors and light our bedrooms. So if we et all have to buy, why should it be from NATO. What about the 150 years of life Coal has and other alternative technologies. Probably I am just optimisitc but when USA can do wht it has, why cant we. Dont tell me they are rich and we arent - wealth is created by the value we produce. Value is produced by the maker/producer and demand created by customer. We have too many of people lacking entrepreneural spirit and expecially those who are in search of big heads (powerful, influential, rich) and ready to fall flat at their feet. I hope one scientist, one economist and one statesman who can genuinely explains pros and cons of deal. Why should Amabanis meet PM at all? whats with Amar singh...I refuse to lick the boots Mr Singh - You still owe us an explanation. Unfortunately your still the King.

You are right we can build our own reactors... What about fuel uranium? Do you know our nuclear plants are running with only 50% load because of no fuel? Did you realize how much time it takes to build a fast breaded reactor, test and install... Did you realize our current power problems and how it is effecting economic growth? You can check yourself how much electricity is being consumed by individual today and decade or two ago… on top of that how many companies are coming up and establishing… every state is competing on investment… where are they getting the power. India has an eye on thorium based reactors as long term goal and energy independence, but takes time to research and etc.
It looks like you worried more about somebody is making money. Do you know this will create 40 billion dollars opportunities in India? And it means new jobs and opportunities and clean and quality power. I am not saying this is the only option but it is one quick and quality and clean one… It is good for nation and individual… I am from village.. we have bigger power problems today than 2 decades ago because same transformer which does not support any more as even poor has one tv and etc… No voltage until 10 PM and minimum 10 hours power cut. So when there is development we should encourage government… All are not opportunities… there are many people thinking for people like MMS in the government and politicians and doing… we are not the only
We all used to respect MMS. However, it is important to note that MMS was at least a silent spectator during JMM. He again remained a silent spectator during today's multiple-JMMs
Winning of most corrupted UPA Govt under MMSingh and Sonia (Full of criminals) and controlled by bribes indicates the most danger sign of Indian democracy. Indian democracy is under control of criminals, MMSingh and Sonia are their leader. What a combination !! Still some people and media think MMSingh is honest person and Sonia is a saint. what a joke !!
How refreshing it is to read Dr. Man Mohan Singh's concluding remarks on the no-confidence motion. It is the language of a true scholar, not a politician; a true patriot not a mere office holder; an embodiment of the old Sanskrit saying - "vidya daati vinayam" (knowledge brings humility.)
Contrast that with the buffoonery of Laloo : "hadbad mein vivah, kanpatti mein sindur" (" a marriage made in haste resultss in vermillion applied around the ears!")
No wonder Biharis are the butt of joke all around the country

Do you think Lalu represents the whole Bihar? In that way you might be of opinion that Whole Tamils are likle karunanidhi and Jaylalitha, Maharashtrians like Raj Thakre and People from Up like Mayavati and Mulayam....No my friend, you are wrong. There are buffoons (as per ur saying) and intellects everywhere irrespective of caste, region and religion. Do not be so mean.
This was a day long awaited, because of the future course the country was to take. Was it a course set forward by narow sectarian political entities that have made no positive contribution for the nation, ever. Or would it be those who spoke of a great nation surging forward to establish herself in world polity and domain. Now, the future generations can look forward to a modern India, that will make the world turn around and appreciate what she will be achieving from this time on. The PM, Dr. Manmohan Singh should be specially thanked for not having succumbed to the threats and evil insinuations made of a genuine man, who has throughout his career kept to his principles and fought bravely for what he thought and of-course knew to be right. Here is a man, who never has had his neck deep in muck as many of the seasoned politicians of our country do. Congratulations!Mr. Prime Minister. You have been given the verdict. You have done what you knew was your duty to the nation. Let all of us do as much.

Do you know ABCD of Deal other than it lights our bedroom and study room. PLease explain. Its just 88 page documents, plesae go through and confirm. Did you ever think your customer giving up your rights to the producer.
And that 88 page is official govt based, add negtivity to it because congress and in general Indian govt was never truthful. All the best.
So humble and modest a Prime Minister we have!!His words "convincing victory" reflects his extraordinary maturity of mind & elderliness rarely seen in any of the contemporary repoliticians.Had it been any one else, all the superlatives on the face of earth would have been employed to describe the govt's victory. He just most aptly ended by saying a "convincing victory" because he is highly mature enough to accept the truth that the govt could win by 11 votes effectively. At this happy moment for the Govt which he heads as P.M,Dr Singh appears to have been swayed by the emotional reminiscences of his childhood which made him reaffirm & rededicate for the poor.Very rarely people remember the past, but just hanker around the present day pleasures. And here we find the highest dignitary who likes to remember past and be not forgetful to his duties cast in the light of the past misery he himself suffered. What a superb narration of his childhood incident!By saying that India's head & heart are sound,he wants to convey to the world that despite such an internal political turmoil,Indian nation remains as one to take up all developmental programmes and to occupy its due place in the world.By virtues, values, wisdom and modesty he marvels all the old guards in his party despite the latter's long association with it and joins the clan of great P.V,Narsimha Rao & Vajpayee.May GOD bless him with perfect health, peaceful inning and long life at least for nation's sake.Good Luck Dr Singh!!
It will be no exaggeration to suggest that the Prime Minister and his Cabinet stand denuded of moral authority and the power they will henceforth wield will be seen as tainted if not illegitimate. For, although the UPA Government has won the vote in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday evening, the manner in which it stacked up numbers in its favour has resulted in its losing the trust of the people. It is at best a pyrrhic victory which will delight only those who have scant regard and even lesser respect for ethics and probity in politics.

do u believe if the MP was really offered some money he would care to inform. the voting took place in such a way that even ur neighbour(in the parliment) would not have known who u actually supported and u believe only UPA must have tried to bribe

Its a golden day for India and now India can really compete China, Brazil, Mexico and Rusia in terms of Infrastucture as energy is very vital factor for growth in GDP for any country and nuclear is the future for the power energy. cheers ...NO BODY IS YUDHISTHIR IN INDIAN POLITICS DONT TALK ABT WHT HAPPENED IN PAIRLAMENT ... Thats a short way thinking brother. Life is of too many complications to decide we are progressing just because of one deal. Your talking of temporary growth - which would have been achieved with/without the deal - if our fundmentals are right. You are just being taken for a ride as Bush took Americans for last 8 years. Enjoy it.
It is a happy day for all Indians. Finally ManMohan Singh has the chance to implement in full speed all the reforms that he was forced to keep in the back burner due to pressure from the anti-development, pro China Commies.
The means may be bad, but the result is good. May God bless the government of Man Mohan Singh and they act in the best interests of the Nation in the remaining months without the unproductive intervention from Commies.

Well indeed we all wish that Dr Manmohan does get a chance to implement reforms in full speed. But you see this is the irony of the whole thing. He still has to depend on his supporters like SP to prop up his minority Govt. This will apply a braking effect as was done earlier by the left parties.
Your blessings will not suffice, as the present Govt or for that matter any other Govt needs a clear majority and not some loose working coalition based on some common minimum program.
According to me this is the Black Day of the history for india. This politicians have sold our country pride for there benefits. Our army on border are giving life to save our motherland pride and its secrets. But this politicians to fulfill there & our benefits have sold our country!!!!!!!! If any one is thinking that this nuclear deal will benefit us then this is a wrong thinking. If you have a power the people will fear you otherwise they will shoot u. So history is going to repeat again we will be controlled by other country i.e USA. Please think on this and please give comments...................
