this is what exactly the BJP hopes and dreamt will happen... unfortunately, my friend, just like ur boss Advani's dream of becoming PM of India, your dream will also remain as a dream - this is good for India

It would be a bad dream for him to contest elections publicly and stop entering from the back door (Rajya Sabha)....ask him to do that please
I know there will be slanging and cursing against the communists, mainly because REDIFF or any site on internet is mainly crowded with the capitalists who would prefer to buy thier wife a 250 crore aircraft than trying to look into the problems of our country, the people who would prefer to buy out india for 3 crore each than making it a perfect democracy, Today I am down and out by even thinking that my country doesnt have a voice of its own, people fight among themselves just as they did before East India Company came to India and took control of us, Common my fellow citizens dont go by the general feeling, start thinking deeply, I am not against the Nuclear energy being used , but cant US help Indian companies producing on thier own if they had to help, Is it mandatory for US companies like GE entering Indian lifeline (energy) and taking control of each and evry thing in India?, along with US visiting each and every nuclear reactors to cross check India isnt making nuclear weapons? Common people may be you are not supporting communists or any party but cant yu even think by yourselves what is happening and what might happen.

Typical commie sentiment. Look at Japan which is what it is today because of US alliance n look at Bengal which is in shambles due to Commie mindset. You commies will do everything in your power to keep our country poor n keeping the Chinses rich. The govt. is talking of Strategic alliance not military alliance to attack Iraq / Iran. Grow up and let my country take its rightful place among the superpowers !!

induj charu, same arguments were given against MMS in 1991 and sad to say that things have not changed for India. Corruption, lack of development, poverty still rule this country

Its fuuny when you say Communists work for the betterment of people. I guess they didi not tell you abput Nandigram. Nor did they tell you about their love for china. You seem to be another brainwashed Commie. But Communist idealogy is different from Democracy and Commuists have motive to topple democracy with the help from china and bring Chinese communism to India.

Dear Sarnab, Though I completely respect your opinions but I feel they completely miss the entire point. Your post, sorry to say, seems like a long standing communist fear "US companies taking over Indian lives". How can that happen? No countrey can ever do a deal that is not for its own benefit. Only poor, very poor nations with no hope can expect things like Western countries coming to them only for their help, even that is highly improbable. Think of it this way if Indian companies in 30 years time have the knowhow to enter a country through a deal, does it mean its taking over the country? Also, what about China that sells so many ammunitions to places like Sudan with huge humanitarian problems!! We should be concerned about that more. I have always maintained that anti-Americanism is good for some of the policies. We cannot sweep it into generalisation and say US and everything about it is a conspiracy.

Dear Shahdevan, People who invaded Golden Temple and desecrated Guru Granth Sahib have left Congress Party long back and are now members of BJP. That is why Sikhs are now supporting Dr. Manmohan Singh.

If Quittrochi had been BJP's issue... they should have dealt with it when BJP was in power, not while they were in opposition. NDA/BJP enjoyed power for 6 long years without doing anything for the country. When the election came, they spent crores and crores of rupees on "India shinning" campaign - hell, we needed a smart woman like Sonia to show BJP's true face to the public...I only hope BJP never recovers from this blow...
