G8 is a joke
by Sameer on Jul 09, 2008 06:37 PM  Permalink

G8 has just two great economic powers right now, Japan, Germany.

Then there are hanger ons like Britain, USA, Italy ( only technoloy they have is pizza), and France. These countries don't have much natural resources either.

Then there are Russia and Canada- great natural resources.

China, a giant in the making is out and so is India. The economies of these two countries are much bigger than projected in the western media obviously to continue with facade of colonial supremacy.

Japan and Germany both are moving away from forging new relations with China and Russia respectivley.

G8 is an empty vessel whihc will some voice but they can not prevent the financial center of gravity mocing towards east, mainly China.
that is the reason, US wants to trap India--so that Indians can do the 'dying' for American goals and destroy both India and China. China has seen this game--but India has not.

Then why can’t Congress go for the election instead of catching the legs of Mulayam to hang on the chair. If the deal is so good for the country, definitely people will give Cong again the chance. BJP can also go the public for supporting the deal and its credit and all other parties who are against the deal will be taught by public in this case. We can then decide what was the interest of public in this deal.

with the kind of public like you, it is not easy to put it across to one billion people in india about the deal. The PM cannot wait for the acceptance from one billion people and then give the acceptance to US. Even Mr Abdul Kalam, the father of India's nuclear program has said that the deal is good for the future of our country, what more do u require to know the benefits of the deal.

Moreover, conducting general elections is not a simple affair, it will cost the exchequer about 1000 crores for an election which i am sure no common, intelligent, broad minded indian would want at this time. And also if elections are held now, it is the UPA which will again come back and not the BJP led NDA.

INDIA DEVELOPLEMENT AS ECONOMIC GIANT is getting as air less balloon
by cebujonas on Jul 09, 2008 06:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India has been developing as an economic giant much faster that what South Korea done in 1980s...

for last 6 months we were showing good..

Oil price hike slowed us down...

now the nuke deal halted it...

We need alternative fuel like bio petrol, thats the first preference

Somebody started it in Tamil nadu few years ago, then thats faded off the news

let us go back to our own resourses, and show all who we are

I am surprised to find such statements even after such a fight by our Prime Minister. Please do not forget that if Dr.M.M.Singh would not have been at the helm of affairs, Congress & UPA would have baulked under Left's pressure. If anything the countrymen should Salute Mr.Manmohan Singh.

It is good for us to generate electricity with our own source.

This is hidden deal between the commies and followers of 10 Janpath otherwise How will they fool the public of WB and Kerala if the elections are held on time? After all they will be fighting each other in these states. Don't be surprised to see both hugging each other after elections to keep "Communal forces" out.

WHY DONT WE DEVELOP BIO PETROL
by cebujonas on Jul 09, 2008 06:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Thats the need of the hour...Nation should be able to stand on its own, prices should go down, agriculture...

Why the bio petrol project is stopped ?

Nuclear anti or pro talk is rubbish as the american senate cant pass it his year and the next us president could make changes in it..

Also projects will be completed after 10-15 years only and the electricity from atomic power will be more expensive...so it will take 50 years to get it done, and political stability is much required, which is not there since 1984
