Nobody can blame a particular govt for that...This is because of useless fellows sitting on big chairs...Itna bada sheher hai...drainage ka pata nahi...Cleanliness ka pata nahi...BMC jhak mar rahi hai...Every year it is happening...When there is rain flood and over flowing roads are there..and when there is summer, people suffer for water...Why the officials do not work around for some rain harvesting...Why don't they think of some innovation....Kyonki unhey woh sab karney ke liye paissa nahi milta. It's not only in Mumbai...the whole country is suffering.
What is Raj Thakarey doing as his marathi manoos are facing the problem of rain which was created by BMC. He too has 7 corporators. Why not he make a visit to meet the people who are suffering?

not really that stupid!! neways..raj Thackeray should be sitting in his fancy home watching the news.....if hes smart..should be visiting a couple of places in his luxury car 2 offer a few "verbal condolences" ... a lil publicity and then should get back home 2 watch the situation on his favo channel

Find it quite funny - I would love to shift to Gurgaon. While Vile Parle is a nice area, it is far off from town.

Yuppie Indian, Vile Parle is suburbs and town is Colaba, where I stay. You need to learn Bombay Geography properly it seems. Or probably you stay in Vasai/ Virar and Vile Parle is town for you.
Update the news their is no train on the platform for the last one hour at mulund station . thanks to the rain god, the useless Government has been once again proven to be the worst and nicammi sarkar.

For your kind information, the BMC is responsible for most of the drainage system in the city, & it has been ruled by the Shiv Sena-BJP combine for decades. It is them who are most responsible for this situation.
I am not a great supporter of Congress, but i don't believe in blindly criticizing the Goverment for everything, get your yourself adequately informed first, or else just SHUT UP!!

thank you francis...atleast someone spoke sensibly here...it isn't the damned chief ministers job to clean ur drain...these good for nothing corporators of the BMC(primarily Shiv Sena BJP) are completely useless and corrupt people.

I think other factors are also responsible.. One of my friends stays in Andheri, in a ground floor house... He has been staying there for 25 years.. He says there was a big open ground near his house.. 3-4 years back it was bought by a builder who covered the ground with concrete .. Now every time it rains water enter my friends house.. because there is no soil left to absorb the water.. If we cover everything with concrete, where will the water go?

You better not travel. No trains running. The tracks are under water at most of the stations.

Every year during raining season there is big hue and cry. After rainy season is over people forget the problems they face and start their routine life. People should enmasse stop pay tax to the muncical/corporation till proper amenities are not done otherwise this situation would continue and govt official would take people for a ride. It is high time that people wake up.
