India?
by usa on Jan 24, 2008 11:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kerala - C/o Gulf
Tamilnadu - No Comments
Andhra Pradesh - Telangana movement
Karnataka - Ask Tamilnadu
Bihar,UP - Their weapons are sophisticated than Indian Army's
Bengal - Chinese will listen.
Seven sister states - Instant death if you are non-assamese.
Punjab - Khalistan
Kashmir - Kidding?
Rajasthan - They call you "paradesi".
Maharastra - Vidarbha movement.
UP - Bundelkhand, Poorvanchal etc
...

Due to the intrinsic cultural diversity, each State in India cannot 'productively' govern more than 2 million citizens.
India should 'decentralize' 602 districts into States or Cantons as in Switzerland.

Hay...this is democracy!!!
by Welcome on Jan 24, 2008 10:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now enough of this tamasha! I hope the people who are reading this are educated enough to understand the meaning of democracy. The way KCR talks and thinks is totally undemocratic. I don't think that KCR has any right to think that the so called rulers can decide our fate. KCR, YSR, Naidu or Sonia has no right to decide my fate. And by the way, people, we are in a democratic state and not a monarchy so that our rulers can decide our fate. I want my voice to be heard as anyone of you do. Creating a new state is not a small issue and I don't want the decision to be taken by few elite. I don't want anything less than a referendum and I don't want to imply the result with any general election's results either. I want every individual to be counted to get the verdict. I know that our politicians don't want to have an end to this as they have been using this issue very successfully to divert the attention from real issues. But it has been dragged so much that we can't sit idle any more. Let's push for a referendum. Let's be heard.

BTW, Tamils and Pakis are infiltrating into this discussion and fuelling more hate. Be careful with them.

Report from AP
by lancer on Jan 24, 2008 10:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Chandra shekar rao was once booked (1984) for cheating case(420) the unemployeed youth in his native karimnagar dist.As for as people of telangana r considered there is no determined demand for seperate statehood infact telengana has developed with the arrival of people from different parts of AP.
Particularly the people of dist surrounding hyderabad do not favour seperate state. You can ask me why such a demand has arisen at first place, there were such demands for seperate state in the year 1969 & 1972 but failed, the demand arises only when the rulers of TDP(mostly naidus caste) & congress(mostly reddy caste) who were and are mostly castiest in terms of higher hierarchy exploited each other the other BC caste.
During the reign of TDP all top positions were cornered by people who belonged to CM caste congress is relatively better.
chndra shekar rao has sensed and grabbed the oppurtunity when he was denied a cabinet birth due to his nefarious record he rised the issue of seperate state since it gives a bigger handle to beat TDP & CONGRESS rather than rising a caste issue which has only narrow base just as NTR did when he was denied a rajya sabha seat he raised issue of telegu pride for his narrow ends.
The present political scenario has been thrown wide open with the talk of chiranjeevi political ambition & resurgent BSP who may split BC vote.
At this juncture chandrashekar raO feels cornered n hence he is again stroking the flames of telengana, just think if he was

I fully agree with your opinion.
For Jai Thelangana i lost my studies in 1969 to 1972 because of Marri chenna Reddy%u2019s agitation and V.V. Giri%u2019s promises their promised is not fulfilled. Individually they established very well with getting Licenses and University permits. What this Rao and Reddy's can not do happened in Chethisgar earlier than after our agitation started before three decades. Now they are cashing
