Many agreements that were made were later dishonoured and torn. the reason given that the Sinhala masses are no tin favour of granting equal rights to the Tamils. Even the 1987 agreement with the Indian government signed by Rajiv Ghandhi and J R Jayawardene granting some autonmy for teh native Tamils in teh North and East making teh Tamil North and East as one unit has been dishonoured by Mahinda Rajapakse. This is a prelude to the capture of the East with the help of the Karuna and the planned SInhalisation. So what has Mr Mukerjee have got to say to that. A friendly disrespect by a racist neighbour I presume. Once the LLTe is weakned and defeated the vitorious Sinhlas wil gloat and capture the Tamil North and the same fate will bbefall on these remaining northern Tamils ( the ones who have no tbeen packed an dsne to Colombo or the west). they will be chesed out of their lands. there wil be mass displacement and etnice cleansing. Thes lands will given to the SInhlas settlers from the South. sorry th eMahavamse the Sinhala historical naration which has a lots of myths and many historical facts too. stated that Lord Buddha came to Sri Lankan and promissed that Sri Lanka will alwyas be the exclusive land of the Sinhala Buddhists. DutuGemunnu killed this 70 year old man. This is glorified by the Sinhalas many Army regiment are named after him parks are named after his mother who urged him to fight the Tamils who ruled most of the Island. But nothing honouring the Tamil King Elara who suugested this battle to avoid further bloodshed. Iam just bringing this to you to show what sort of mind set these Sinhlas have. The famous Tamil story Manu Cholan wher the king is ready to kil his son for killing a calf whilst racing is believed to be about this king called Elallan the just. and not 2300 years ago. The aim of the Sinhlas have always been to reach that aim an exclusive Sinhlas BUddhist land.However these native Tamils living in the NOrthEast and until very recently the NOrth West were a hindrance. They eyes thes Ancient Tanil lands but were never able to capture them other than for short periods due to the CHolas the Pandyans, then the Tamil kings of Jaffna ( the Arya Chakravartis) and the powerfull Tamil chiefs in the East. The European colonisation was actually a blessing to them. They were receding as a people. Sinhla was only now spoken in the interior Kandyan, Low country areas. The entiore coast the NOrth and East and North West was Tamil. All three kingoms had Tamil kings although other than the Jaffna kindom the Kandy and Kotte Kingdom was nominally SInhala. The entire aristocracy both Sinhala ( who were mainly SOuth Indian Tamil) and Tamil spoke Tamil. The Portuguese rule forced al lteh Tamil sin teh coast to become Catholics amdn then amny of these Tamil Catholics in teh west and south coastes later became Buddhist and the entire Tamil west and South coast became Sinhala. These recently Tamil turnes SInhlas like on who comes here are the most rabidly anti Tamil. They now are around 50% of the SInhlas population. after around 10 years of independence thanks to India and thw west the ancint Tamil civilisationin the NOrth and East wil cease these lands wil lbe fully Sinhalised. The old Tamil place names will change to SInhala

We must improve the standard of our intelligence agencies so that they can stand up to the other intelligence agencies (do I really need to name them)working within our country.
