best solution is to award whatever Degrees/jobs Pro reservationists want without taking any admission or exams. Then the seats can be given to those with merit.Everybody will be happy

..you say "From where will the son/daughter of a rickshaw driver will get 50 per cent marks to compete with his colleagues.".... dod you think such a student will ever be able to pass out of institutes like IIT/IIM/AIIMS? If he cannot get minimum marks, doesn't it show that the fault is in the primary education system?

Dear friend if he has no food. give him food and ask him to run. how can u make the finish line shorter for one person and longer for another. Give proper primary education and everyone would be able to compete equally for the same seat. our govt is not trying to fix the cause because once they fix it, they would be thrown out by the same people

subbuji, there must be reservation for Olympics also. IOC should consider 49.5% reservation for SC/ST/OBC while distributing medals.

If In US a Negro is Called Black its a Offence, doesnt it become Offence In India to Call a Tribal-SC/ST/OBC??
by Rajesh H on Apr 12, 2008 02:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My Point is simple. If a Court can Punish a Person for calling his wife black, If there is Racist Comment in Austrailia againsr Harbajjan Singh?? then How cant Government of India Be sued for Recognising and Bringing forward the OBC and SC/ST issues?? When a Student claiming that he is a ObC candidate goes to a College, the college will first see the documentation given by the Government authorities and Recognise him as OBC!! Now isnt it a CASE OF CASTE RECOGNITION OR RACIAL ABUSE??

no. it is definitrly caste recognition awarded. in usa it is derogatoty comments but here in india you are getting advantage out of turn, though qualitatively you are inferior, taking out the oppertunity of a much better qualitative one and you are proud of it.

I don't understand, why you people make hue and cry for this 27 % for that 75% population.? Don't you have 50 % open Category for your share ? Why the hell , you people don't behave like big brother ? Why you want to be like LIONS eating everything among yourself ?

Swaminathan, don't try to fool others.Consider the cases where the SC/ST/OBC students obtain the high marks which enable them to be included in general meritlist then such candidates deprive other candidates from general category and not the SC/ST/OBC candidates from their list. Thus these people want the benefits from both the ends. This has been going on for last 60 years.I wish you should have lost seat due to these candidates then you would have understood the pain.Pl.don't try to brainwash us.Your calculation with regard to 27% and 75% is misleading.Tell me will these caste based reservation bring equity at all?

it is a competative world out here.Get ready for the competetion, don't lower the standards/give preference. This way, merit will win irrespective of caste.
That's where our so called great leaders (read Arjun Singh) should be concentrating. My DAD suffered ,I missed seat in a PG course & this way I think my son will also suffer.
This judgement has made a mokery of the constitution"all indians are equal"WHERE???????"
Ofcourse in death. There these leaders cannot allocate anything.

Words are already told LOUD and Clear.. NO Creamy Layer. It means clean and Balanced Judgement. No Cllimbing Ladders. Its a Good Judgement and Every Indian Should welcome it. All politicians are protesting as the CREAMY Layer is Not included as the Kin of the people who made this RULE are not getting Benefitted. Everyone's comment is from the MOney point of view. If a OBC Candidate get a Seat anywhere in the country there are large Number of Banks to Sponsor them. And one day OUR GOvernment can even waive of the student Loan. Do It Like that. But dont crap on CREAMY Layer. Its for the benefit for everyone.
