It should be made mandatory for all the politicians and their family members that if they are unwell, (a) they MUST get admitted into AIIMS only, (b) they MUST be treated/ operated by Docs/ Surgeons and Interns from their favourite "Reserved Category" ONLY. (c) No gen. categ. doc/ surgeon should have any authority to treat them. (d) No foreign docs/ surgeon should be consulted. (e) For various medical tests etc., the equipment from AIIMS must be used on as is where is condition. After all, these politicians are the ones championing the upliftment of backward classes all the time. And in this way they can show the world how dedicated they are for this cause.

Fully agree with you. I was totally ignorant about castes and communities till I completed my education. But after I joined an employment, I started realising the discrimination against me as a gen. category when many of my colleagues with much less talent/ skill got recruited/promoted before me owing to reservation policy. This Reservation policy is creating a great divide among the Indians and the politicians are thriving and feasting because of this divide only. Today I wish, all Indians realise the nefarious games the politicians and their stooges play and kick them out. The sooner the Reservations are scrapped, the better. Instead of Reservations, I am totally in favour of the government providing more facilities (financial or otherwise) to students who come from economically weaker background irrespective of their castes and communities. This will help the promising students among the lot to come on par with other students and compete. And such govt. support should be first targeted at the primary, secondary and upto graduation level of education. Such support can be extended to deserving students even upto PG level. It should be something like a scholarship.
I do think that the backward communities should not lag behind in the race for progress and success and overall fortune making.
But what is the role of HRD ministry? To groom Indian human resource capital They are propogatinf reservation because they thing that by more inclusion of downtrodden classes, we get more human resource capital.
But is it true? While the less talent may get the official certificate of education and thereby increase in the human resource to India, the real talent which will be deprived of the opportunities will go abroad for persuance of studies and working.
So the real quality human resource which India's pride and precious fortune will be serving other nations and also as an another effect, the overall quality of the national human resource capital will come down. A total negative outcome.
Not to mention the social impact, social unrest, political debacles, social divide among peace loving fellow Indians.....
What is more, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had never mentioned that OBC are backward and need state assistance in upgradation.

Mr.Arjun singh has never achieved any thing & will not achive anything till he passes away.Just want to write his name as crusaders & champion of backwards.Without having any vision.Can he tell, if he has vision & real worry about the backwards, the time & method/plan of action to get rid of this so called backward communities & make them forward.
bring in the competitors for the existing govt companies
also privitise education
then bring in foreign universities
then the private companies go to foreign universities for campus recruitment
they will recruit only merit candidates. the college can also easily supply a list of SC ST OBC candidates in its campus in order not to select them.
the companies will fly away with General Category students.
all the govt jobs will be filled by SC ST OBC people
all the private jobs will be filled by General category.
if general category wants any dealings with govt institutions for land certificate, etc, they can be easily be bribed after all reservation will not fetch you money.
therefore you all reserved category will again bend your heads to general category.
ha ha ha ha ha ha........
good luck all reserved people. you are tightening the noose around your own neck.

in state technical universities and autonomous engineering institutions, where reservation is available, the obc and sc/st students struggle to understand, pass or complete with the bright students in the class. the teacher is compelled to lower his standard of delivered to met 75% of the students requirement. It affects the caliber of the bright student who came in open quota. Very sad part is the question is made easy and evaluation is done liberal to push 100% pass result.

Dear Friend, Why that par below performance has come there.? There always be a bright student, dull student and average in the class. You are bright, because others all dull !!. The society made SC/ST/OBC ,so dull by not providing the opportunity for hundreds of year. They might have also had the same view as of yours and branded as barber,doby,farmer like that.

dear Mr.Swaminathan "You are bright, because others all dull !!". In the same way "some are forward/uppercaste till you believe that you are backward".Who is discriminating whom?????? Is it not self discrimnation??? It takes only one chance & pure will to come up in life.Take the example of a great musician Mandolin Srinivas,from backward community,his forefathers also should have been harassed but see him now & imagine his progeny.It takes only one life time to improve self & family. But if you get used to reservations (60 years Atleast 2 generations) you cannot improve even if you are given 80% reservations & still take pride in calling yourselves backward.
The castist minds have been defeated. But old habits die hard. Castists have learned the skills of creating confusion when they lose.
These old tricks won't help. You may get the best jugglars in the world who play with words & interprete or misinterprete the judgement, you just cannot win, its a lost battle.
At least now leave these senseless & sdistic tricks. Impotents cannot father any offsprings!
