We want people to stop pouring in and living in slums on pipelines and on footpaths.

We want them to stop using open areas for sanitation.

We want them to pay municipal taxes and not try to create a lawless Bihar in Maharashtra.

We want the Bachchans to stop giving Bihari/UP pols cover to create a UP/Bihar in Maharashtra.

You keep you Bihar/UP whichever way you want. We will keep Maharashtra a place where decent people can live and people feel safe to allow women folk to move around late at night.

Adding to what you said

Hawking on the streets without legal permits and clogging the streets

Do not make copies of permits and driving 15-20 year old taxis/autos

Do not do vote bank politics by calling Abu Azmi Mulayam Singh Amar Singh and Lalu Yadav

Do not build illegal slums by encroaching on public lands

Anna,

The same UP/Biharites are responsible for this hell in Mumbai due to their illegal activities.

As for Amitabh Bacchan do not forget his "UP Brand Ambassador" and "UP mein jurm kum hain" days. If AB indulges in politics, it is bound for people to think he is a politician too.

Its a great myth that Maharashtar has anything to do with great achievments of Amitabh Bachchan

We need to understand some industries are global/national in nature. However they may have production registered in certain Geographical location. Hindi (or another for that matter) Films are shot all round the world depending on the subject and content of the film. So its a great myth that Maharashtar has anthing to do with great achievments of Amitabh Bachchan. But due to our divisive politics noone has the guts to speak the truth.

What doea Rajinikanth mean by this statement? - ""I am not an unwise person to pass remarks that offend the sentiments of people of Karnataka."

1. Was he under some compulsion to take tamil's side
2. Are does he mean Tamil people are unwise enough to undestand his statement?

Greatness of the Great Artist
by Sanjay Mishra on Apr 07, 2008 08:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I opine that Amitabh Bachan and sean Connory are the live legend of the cinema. No person can even touch them.In few terms like multiferous dimension of roles and protagonisms I find Amitabh is far ahead than Sean Connary,as Amitabh is a real and born actor. So, in my opinion political parties and other pressure groups must skip from spreading muds on such a great persons. No actor in Indian cinema history even would touch his silhouette. I really respect him.Such personalities must never be estimated by their place of origin, the belong to the whle nation, as they are heritage.

hahaha.
he couldn't even beat rajesh khanna and sanjeev kumar, had to piggyback on his wife's clout to get films, then continuously overacted through his career barring some 2-3 films like majboor (which did not do well), sarkar, etc. All the others were basically the same roles. He also had quite a few affairs with leading ladies just to be in the limelight. He is a shame on his father's name.

This comment is quite short sighted. To think that a person can survive in Bollywood based on '2-3' good movies is naive. Having affairs .... Your entire comment is IMO childish.

this is not true. Just like you are generalising, a few 'typical' 'north indians' generalise about you but it is never about being anti-national.

In fact, i have seen more hatred for northies in west and south than the other way round.

UP/Biharis true to their feudal origins, are aiming for power in Maharashtra through vote-bank politics.

UP DIN, DESH BACHAO RALLY are being organised by Abu Azmi, Mulayam Singh, Amar Singh.

Chatt Puja is becoming a show of strength with political leaders like Laloo Yadav cultivating vote banks.

UP Biharis culture is of doing politics anywhere they go!
