Why this language issue suddenly erupted ? That means politicians have no other means left to bring rift between the states. All these silly politicians should be sentenced to life, then only India will be safe.

Are u not a Hindi speaking, It is our National Language & every body have to know this language, but this Marathi is only a regional, so if every Marathi knows Hindi they are not obliging anybody & U tell me How many marathi knows Gujrati, Tamil or Bhojpuri, is this Shameful. so don't be Marathi BE INDIAN.

Even our mother-tongue has equal importance with Hindi as per the Constituion of this country.
If you migrate and stay for many years in a non-Hindi speaking state of this country learn to respect and speak the local language there.
Nehru made a colossal mistake by declaring Hindi as national language.

It is pity that we are making issue out of nothing. Politicians are using people for their own benifit. Raj has nothing so he has raked up this issue. Lalu,mulayam are very smart. They are restraining themselves from this issue.It is very true that we should respect the culture of the local people where we live. Now this has become an issue of ego...
It is a shame for our country that such selfish people are ruling. I don't know whether Bachhan is wrong or right, but killing innocent Biharis and UP people in Mumbai for this is definitely wrong. First comes our country and people. If these politicians are trying to ruin our unity means that they r not eligible to rule and they should be stopped from doing such bad things. One more issue which is similar to above is the long time Kaveri issue b/w Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It started about 30 or 40 years ago. And still our 'dear' politicians have not found a solution means there is something fishy. It clearly indicates that they dont want the issue to be solved. They want it to use for political gains. One more thing about Rajnikanth. His said that the people who r responsible for creating disturbances should be kicked, i.e the "Kannada Rakshana Vedike" group who r doing all sorts of bad things in Karnataka. He is absolutely correct. They r criminals and they should be stopped. I myself is a Kannadiga who is ashamed of these people. If we keep on fighting about religions, language then one day will come when India will once again be partitioned. British ruled our country by using divide and rule policy. It was worst type of ruling. British were outsiders. It is sad to see that now our fellow country men are using the same policy for their political gains.
Using Big B's name guarantees success, fame etc, VP Singh became Prime Minister after the Bofars scandal had accused Amitabh then, nothing came out Amitabh was vindicated, then some actors compared themselves with the Big B and they were also able achieve some amount of success, MNS chief was not known personality outside Maharashtra , he used Amitabh name and became a celebrity overnight, messiah to the Marathi speaking people %u2026the mantra is use Amitabh%u2019s name and become successful%u2026..........
While BigB's humility is praiseworthy,this whole episode has made our country a laughing stock across the world.What else would justify personal attacks on an actor who was voted even more popular than Jesus Christ in BBC poll(I read it recently somewher)?.
People from all sides need to reflect-is this the treatment deserved by people who have given our country so much name and fame?
