The people who critcise Shivsena doen't know anything about mumbai riots. They simply sit somewhere in India and try to comment on Mumbai riots. The people who crying over trageting muslims are either blind or pretending to be like that. Mumbai witnessed 3 riots. One was right after babri demolition, where lots of hindus were targeted. mostly were common people, who had nothing to do with politics. (So called secularist, pls note it) and in second riots, police force was targated. That time, congress was in goverment. Being secular, they didn't try to save so called fanatic hindus and police force. Nobody like so called Human activists Mahesh Bhat & Shabana Aazmi and Abu aazami came forward and tried for peace making. And third riot happened and we know about it. ShivSena got support in mumbai. overall sentiments were " Only sena can save hindus and mumabi". This was just "tit for tat". I don't know whether its right or wrong. but this is history. So don't blame sena alone. Try to find out reasons behind it.
Even recently, a couple of years back, 2 police constables were killed brutally in a day light in Bhiwandi. The reason,the community wanted to shift the police chouki away from mosque. Since government is secular, nobody was arrested. God knows what happened to the families of those poor police. As usual, english media kept mum over it. since those were police, why mahesh bhat and shabana aazmi will bother to take a press conference and protest?

To all the ignorant & fanatics people who hv double standard.Here u bast r justifying what happened in riots hun .No two wrong can make a right...Justice is same for everybody..If its justfy to kill innocent people with any argument than its also justify in case when somebody whole family is killed in front of his eyes.Do u agree if he is blowin himself ?U double standard cowards!!!.Are we living in brahaman raj where no body has right to say except them...They exploited almost 90% of indians for thousands of years..

Latest news, In last week, police went to arrest one guy, who happens to local congress leader in shivadi, mumbai. Then they had to face stone pelting from hari masjid. One constable is in ICU. State congress goverment didn't arrested anybody fearing of further worsening of law and order situation. If this would have done by Shivsena, you would have seen a big headline in TOI and then news channels discussing how sena is fanatic, then Abu aazmi/mhesh bhatt demanding strict police action. This is secular maharashtra.
The Hitavada (a newspaper based in Nagpur) had explained the Srikrishna report in detail in its Sunday edition in Sept. The Srikrishna Commission report clearly states that an overwhelming majority of the Muslims who were killed in the riots died due to the police bullets. The report gives the details of the casualties for each and every day of the riots. On one of these days, the police opened fire at a mob (consisting of both Hindus and Muslims), it goes on to mention that the no. of dead Muslims was more, which implies that more Muslims were present in the mob. Rediff would be doing a great service if it could just publish the report as it is, instead of seeking to discredit Shiv Sena and BJP.
