Muslims cannot shut the mouth of every non -Muslim who is abusive of Islam and its Prophet.
Muslim faith is not on such flimsy grounds that it can be shaken up by any insolent rantings.
Non-Muslims have been taking potshots at Islam for the past 1428 years,yet Islam has only grown by leaps and bounds.
There is no greater abuse of Islam,than USA killing one million Muslims based upon hatred of Islam since 1990 and continues to kill,maim Muslims.
Shite & Sunnis in Iraq cannot get their act together to confront the systematic destruction of their institutions and country.
Indeed Dr.Nasreen has certain non conformist views which are not based upon any particular spite or hatred of Islam.
Picking on poor,helpless Doctor Nasreen does not make any sense.If the Muslims don't like what she is saying,they should just ignore it and not dignify it.
Muslims should learn to be patient and tolerant of any progressive ideas,criticism.
All the progress in the World was made by intellect,unfettered by conventions,orthodoxy,pre-conceived notions,prejudices.
Islam is a progressive religion and is subject to social changes depending upon the needs of time and prevailing circumstances without mauling its fundamental principles.Antique faiths like Judaism and Christianity recognized that and implemented changes.
If Islam fails to keep pace with times,Islam is likely to lose its universal appeal and following.
