The doctors have also their interest in mind. They know that they will make more money and get more patients if they are successful. Doctors these days have forgotton their ethics.

The doctors may have their interests in mind but they have not forgotten their ethics. They r in it because its a challenging case. the hospital will incur expenses for the surgery. If they had operated with expenses like other patients, would you have donated for the child?
Felt Sorry for the poor girl and false belief villagers! In 21st century surgery should help the girl to be normal. Thank God that the Villagers/BJP didnt stop the surgery.

Yes he is right. The BJP always makes issues of such type of news and makes it a religous issue.
Hats off to Doctors and well wishers. It brings our faith back that possibly we and our Country is surviving because of such devoted and selfless Doctors. I am sure Lakshmi will be fine. -aps

God will definitely help them. They are really doctors as we dream of them! Good to know that there are lot of good doctors not the money snatcher in India
For the first time I've seen so many beautiful messages on Rediff. People from different caste and religion are praying for this child... it's very-very emotional.. This is what we call.. Unity in Integrity.. My best wishes to the team of doctors who'll be performing the operation. May GOD bless you all.
the chances of survival in this very complicated surgery is low.....there will only 10-25% of survival from this kind of complicated surgery.....its great to see and heartening to see doctors performing it at free of cost.....no matter whether this operation will be successful or not i salute the doctors of sparsh hospital.....its good to see doctors acting without capitalist mentality......
