Three Wrong Points in the Article
by Rohit on Jun 04, 2007 07:34 PM  Permalink

The first one is saying Nair and Namboodthiri, both aare matriarchal, which is not the case. Namboothiri, the Kerala Brahmin follows Patriarchism.

The second one is saying Guruvayoorappan is an avatar of Lord Krishna. He is not considered as avtar of Krishna, but Krishna himself, more specifically Krishna as an infant.

And the third is Ravi saying the whole issue is because he is of backward caste Ezhava. The issue was his wife being Christian and Hindu Temples in Kerala does'nt allow non hindus to enter temple premises.

So his son was not considered a Hindu because his mother was Christian.

Ravi has every right to feel aggrieved but being a responsibe citizen and a leader of status he should not distort facts ang give it a casteist colour. Especially in Kerala's background where casteism is not at all prevelant.

True. But does Xtians/Muslims believe in What Krishna Said? Or they are fundamentalists, unless u believe in Muhamud/Jesus you are a infidel/hathen?

Why a Xtian who does NOT believe in Hinduism, its rituals need to visit a Hindu Temple?

Let them visit Sri Sri Ravisankar's discourse who allows everybody to listen.

Rajapakse and his Catholic Wife were allowed in and treated like VIPS. He is no way a Hindu. But for Vayalar Ravi a different set of rules. They will insult low caste Hindus but suck up to Big Shot Foreigners.
I say Sack the Administration Board and the government should interevene if necessary.

If the priests are really serious about the purity of the temple then they should be doing the purification rites each and everyday. How can anyone make sure that on a particular day a non-hindu has ever entered the temple or not (unless he/she happens to be a VIP or well-known personality)?

How much do you know about Brahmins?Let me tell you there are times when the priests do this to Brahmins as well. This particular thing may be peculiar to castes in Kerala but I as a brahmin and of high status can tell you that I hasd similar experience in Varanasi when I was a kid!
If you think that Priests represent the entire Brahmin community then you are extremely wrong.
The local priest in the temple while visting my home commented something which was not in right taste.I am a brahmin but not the priest class but the old rular class. And I tell you about my all the parentage it will baffle you.
Priests are different catogory of Brahmins.

Bramnical Arrogance

Hi dear Hindu Brother Ravi
Its obvious that you will get angered when some one want's to ask you to prove your Religion.its very funny condition. its only due to outdated practises followed by our people.I ensure you that no one has right (Whether he is a brahamin,Vaishya,Kshtriya etc etc)to ask some to enter or not.We are with you Mr.Ravi.
but please note that "Hindu" is not a religion its a "Sanatan Dharma". the word Religion came from bible it was not existing in our Bharatiya culture. religion means way of worshipping god.But in dharama you can worship any god in whatever way you want. ours is Secular way of Worshipping. We don't kill some one if he don't beleve in god.Any way my dear brother don't bother about some Pandit's trying to prevent you from entering temple. We will create a New Temple where any one from Universe can came and offer their prayers. PLEASE DON"t GIVE UNNECCESARRY IMPORTANCE TO SOME UNEDUCATED PANDITS HAVING HALF KNOWLEDEGE OF HINDU CULTURE & ITS HERITAGE.....WHOLE HINDUSTAN IS WITH YOU.ALL PROBLEMS ARE OCCURING DUE TO YOUR "CONGRESS PARTY" IS DIVIDING HINDU SOCIETY INTO SMALL CASTES & GIVING IMPORTANCE TO CASTE VOTES RATHER TO INTEGRATE SOCIETY AS HINDU...FRESH EXAMPLE OF GUJJAR IN RAJASTAN..WE FEEL PROUD TO GET IDENTIFIED AS BACKWARD & TRY TO DIFFERENTIATE WITH OTHERS "SABHI PROBLEMS KI JUD YE JAAT HAI JO KABHI NAHI JAATI".
SO PLEASE REQUEST "SONIA" TO STOP SPREADING HATREAD ON THE NAME OF CASTE>>Any way don't bother we are with you

Try to do something useful for the country Mr. Ravi atleast once in your life time. Why would you say such things about a brahmin, whose life in this country is very bad. See boss, the ppl in this country are counting your faults. remember that you will have topay a price for such comments.
