There is no god. What about the big bang theory. What about the Dinosaurs millions of years ago. One of these days the aliens are going to kick our butts and install their god on us and thats when you all are going to realise. Enough people have died in the name of religion. Why waste peoples time now.

Darwin was a rascal. His grandfather was a monkey.... Humans evolved from Humans, not monkeys. And big bang theory... it is one of those much hyped bullshit. How can some ass*h0le assume that a billion years ago which mass exploded and whay gas was released? It is a pure guesswork. Also, the biggest myth of the century is that "Man landed on the Moon". Lot of evidence suggests that it is a great bluff.
Aliens will not kick our butts, but certainly, you converted idiot need a ""Gaaaand peeey Laaat".

Maybe we will do well to realize that most of the powers associated with our Gods (any religion) are well within the reach of our civilization now. If we have the gadgets we have now and go back 100 years, we will be considered gods. Our societal abilities are increasing exponentially. Maybe we will reach God one day. Maybe that is God's will. Maybe all of us together and the rest of creation itself is God.
How sad! In the 21st century, We, the People of India, continue to fool ourselves with these messy, murky, silly, meaningless issues and wallow in these dirty old traditions, while elsewhere in the world people have turned their attention to improving the quality of life - and all vital issues to make life meaningful, and achieving them. But we .. ?
I don't know who the Gods of Guruvayur and other such temples will bless - or punish - Brahmins who protest the entry of "lower castes", or such "lower castes" who despair for and dare to take a darshan at Hindu temples! Purifying the temple because a human being came in to see the God - what bull shit man!
India, my dear mother India, please wake up and give us the strength to smash the chains that have kept us down to stupid beliefs, traditions and customs. Give us the strength to realize we are just human beings, man & woman, mother & father, brother & sister, friend & colleague, no less - even animals with lower senses don't distinuguish and differentiate one another, why should we?
And these hatreds, these impositions, these idiotic attitudes, in the land of Buddha, and Gandhi, and Periyar and scores of such enlightened leaders? Shame on us!

Great message shankar. It is time we stopped hating and arguing who is better, and in fact start getting better.

You are right.... we are a nation chained.... but you know who are the culprits? The Congress, the Islamists, the secularists like you, the lousy Journalists, the Parasite Communists, the Gandhi-Nehru rascals.

Yes, everybody else is the culprit, except any individual who talks...and nobody will ever accept that they themselves have something..a tiny bit to do with this situation.

Kallivalli, I'd say 99.9% of the messages here are from non keralites. I do not think too many people in Kerala are really bothered by this controversy.
I have full sympathy for you mr ravi as far as this incident is concerned. but did you realize where the blame lies. if not the party in power for 50years and of which you are so proud member . It has squarely benefited from this caste system and has done nothing but to reinforce it in creative ways . The problem of brahmanism is that of casteism. and if you are elected from your constituency it is primarily for your caste . Who do you think is responsible for preserving this divide . Brahmins didn't ran the show for the last 5 decades . The greedy people from your party did . Instead of bad mouthing the brahmins for narrow political gains please give real suggestion of what you intend to do to eradicate it. We all know that going back to the basics of hindu religion is only way to overthrow this caste divide. A party with a xtian as its head and simian like intelectual inventory will never have the guts to do so.
YOU FOOLS ARE FIGHTING OVER NOTHING. I PITY YOUR LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE.
READ THIS TO KICK A LITTLE BIT OF SENSE INTO YOUR HEAD.
Religious Leader: Science does not have the proof of EVERYTHING in the universe yet. There are so many things missing at the fundamental level. So my boy, please turn to religion.
Student: Does Religion have the proof of all the missing stuff at the fundamental level?
Religious Leader: No my son.
Student: Does Religion have the proof of ANY of the stuff in the universe?
Religious Leader: No my son.
Student: I am confused. You are expecting me to turn away from Science which explains most of the stuff, and embrace religion which does not prove anything at all??
Religious Leader: You should not expect proof from Religion. Its called blind faith.
Student: Are you telling me that I should expect proof from Science and not expect proof from Religion?
Religious Leader: Yes my son.
Student: That sounds like double standards.
Religious Leader: Hmmm...
Religious Leader: Ok, now Where did life come from?
Student: From a primodial soup of chemicals
Religious Leader: You know my son, life is so complex, there is no chance that a random combination of atoms could have created life.
Student: No one is saying that a random combination created life.

Very informative and thought provoking. I hope the "believers" don't think that it is a sin to even think in these lines. It is a matter of concern that these messages are reported for abuse. Hope we open our minds a lot more in all directions.

I am sorry about supprting this message which spams and also posted somewhere else, though I don't think it is completely irrelevant. Thanks Rajiv.
Student: The self organisational properties of chaotic systems leads to repeated production of similar complex molecules. Those molecules XXXXX
Religious Leader: Dont try to win the argument by quoting things I do not understand.
Student: You dont understand because you have not done your homework. If you have not done your homework on the complexities of life, what makes you qualified to argue ? Go do some reading, oh my learned one.
Religious Leader: Grrrr... ok forget life. Where did all the matter and space-time come from? huh? huh?
Student: From the big bang
Religious Leader: Do you have an eye witness proof of the big bang?
Student: No but we have eye witness proof of within a fraction of second after the big bang. And what's more we have very good circumstantial evidence of the big bang itself.
Religious Leader: So you dont have absolute proof?
Student: Right, no absolute proof. Well Religious Leader, please tell me where all the matter and space-time came from.
Religious Leader: God created them of course.
Student: Do you have absolute proof?
Religious Leader: No
Student: Do you have proof of even a few seconds after the creation, or even a few years, maybe centuries later?
Religious Leader: No
Student: Do you have circumstantial evidence at least?
Religious Leader: No. But you have to believe blindly.
Student: You expect me to belive in something that has no proof whatsoever and abondon something that has strong circumstantial evidence?
Student: A thief was caught escaping from the safe of the bank with bags of cash in his hand. No one actually saw him grab the money from the safe. But they caught him as he was exiting the safe room. The thief tells the judge that a MAGICAL FLYING PIG gave him the money. The Judge asks him for proof of the magical pig, or at least circumstantial evidence. The thief tells the judge to have blind faith in him. Will the judge belive the thief? Religious Leader: Grrrr... ok forget the act of creation. Now tell me, what existed before the big bang? Student: Nothing. If time did not exist, then there is no question of BEFORE. Religious Leader: How did something come from nothing? Student: To be frank, no one knows Religious Leader: Aha got you there!! Science cannot answer that. The answer is "God created everything from nothing". Student: How did God do that? Religious Leader: No one knows Student: How does God manifest his powers? Religious Leader: No one knows Student: What is god at a fundamental level ? What is he made of ? Religious Leader: No one knows Student: Ok, forget the fundamental level. At least show me god Religious Leader: No I cannot Student: Who created god? Religious Leader: No one knows. Student: So Religion does not have ANY of the answers. Religious Leader: Get lost you sick idiot! I've got a job to keep.

boy... well tried. Now which religious leader are you referring to? Its a completely one-sided story that is being force fed by you to make your point. Religion cannot be studied with the yardstick of science/logic. Although several deductions can be made for making convincing arguments. Your 'religious leader' here is depicted as a weakling and that's the premise of your denouncing religion! Your choice nevertheless. As long as you are comfortable with it
A temple is place of God and not someone's personal property. Believer, non-believers, member of any caste or religion is equal in front of the God. I can't imagine how priest can refuse entry into a temple and he is doing in the name of Hindu relgion. He is certainly not following the Hindu religion that I know of. One can see why so many Hindus converted to Islam and Christianity. Hindu religion has to be rescued from the clutches of these ignorant priests if it has to survive.
