Why is the orginal message reported for abuse? Just because it is anti-Christian? I don't find anything abusive there!!! If we speak facts, which are non-abusive, why do you consider them abusive?

TO ALL THOSE RELIGIOUS IDIOTS OUT HERE:
by London Tantrik on Jun 05, 2007 04:25 PM  Permalink

YOU FOOLS ARE FIGHTING OVER NOTHING. I PITY YOUR LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE.
READ THIS TO KICK A LITTLE BIT OF SENSE INTO YOUR HEAD.

Realize that there are about 10,000 distinct religions in the world today, all vying for my adherence. Most, if not all, include nonscientific, extraordinary claims which flatly contradict known natural principles and established hard evidence. Should I take a leap of faith and give credence to the claims of all 10,000? You seem to admit that Christianity or Hinduism does not have actual hard evidence for some (if not most, if not all) of its extraordinary claims. I assume this is the case for almost every world religion, too. When one discounts the centrality of hard evidence, how does one decide which nonscience to take on faith, and which to write off as the absurdity it appears to be?

Hindu People need some proper research on %u2013 Hinduism
by Shashi on Jun 05, 2007 04:23 PM  Permalink

Believe or not Hindu's are the most liberal people i.e. we change ourselves from generation to generation. This is our virtue (Hindu) that without any kind of research (Hindu religion) done in past decades we tried ourselves with modern shield. Most of the people (Indian Hindus not related any cast) they came out from these type of %u2018Wrong believes%u2019.

May be in thousands of year ago few Hindu people (Hindu religion Planner) divided them selves into CAST & SUB-CAST. Due to these people i.e. %u2018Hindu religion Planner%u2019s%u2019 we all Hindu people are now based on these %u201CCAST%u201D as an Identity. Fortunatly or Unfortunately we followed these %u201CReligion Planner%u2019s%u201D Blindly or knowingly. (Here I don%u2019t want to argue pros n cons of CAST & SUB-CAST)

Over the years now %u201CCAST%u201D (Hindu-Cast/sub-cast) has become some people%u2019s virtue or immoral or depraved or degrading lifestyle. Due to some argument reasons you can%u2019t demolish the CAST/SUBCAST from Indian ground level. Here I don%u2019t want to generate some kind of diversities in my sayings ok Think! Very few people want to cut their own roots. Keep your identity as a CAST/SUBCAST as it is but don%u2019t practices in reality.

Most of the educated people (Indian Hindus only not related any cast) they believe in their own ways of living and find own social structure around their livings. This is the TRUE story of present India or may be in future it will be the same (If we stay peacefully together)

That%u2019s why we are facing religious issues like Gujjar violence in Rajasthan, RAM Mandir, Gujarat riots, Bombay riots etc. May be in future we will have lots of consequences due to differences in religions, castes etc.

Discussing any kind of topic is always best practices but trying to find some centric output is the challenge. We all know from our past, present & may be in future we%u2019ll face the same issues. Why not to make efforts to come to some kind of conclusion.

I know in India we have lots of diversities between Hindu people. But why don%u2019t we think to come in to the one banner called %u201CHindu%u201D & do some research on Hindu community based on facts not the bloody blind faiths.
I know all I%u2019m talking is not that easy but why not to show our LEADERS this is one of the biggest issues which need to resolve in proper manner. Force Politician LEADERS or authorities to form some kind of %u201CUnique Educated Hindu consortium%u201D such a way that they can include all UPPER CAST, LOWER CAST, SC, ST, BC,OBC, TRIBS peoples leader in to their banner and put forward religious Research together. Eventually these %u201CUnique Educated Hindu consortium%u201D will guide (not drive) the policymaker (Politicians) what is the best practice to give quota, temple structure, and religious issues.

Think rationally on these types of article which highlights the excellence focuses the social discrepancies. Take it as a challenge and try to change it rather shouting %u2018We Hindus are the Best%u2019.

Don%u2019t forget you are forced to be an Indian as a birth (Lucky OR Unlucky) & makes it as genuinely successful by your deeds like Proud to be an Indian.

Save Hinduism.
by Zing Thing on Jun 05, 2007 04:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is really unfortunate that somebody has to wait for going to temple. We should leave old concepts behind and allow entry to temple to each and every individual; which ever religion or caste he or she might be. This is the only way we can save our religion.

Yes, a temple is a public place. It is a public park. Let every Tom, Dick and Harry walk into it. Let them do timepass. Let them look at a stone, which is garlanded. Let them see the lamps that are lit there. Let them listen to the strange Sanskrit sounds.

A temple is an entertainment zone. Let everyone go there to while away his time.

"Saving the religion" ::: Our religion is going down, because nobody is really pious and religious in the true sense.

I believe that entry into temples should be restricted even to Hindus. Only those who study Gita and Upanishads, only those who do Yoga, Pranayama and Dhyaana (meditation) should be allowed inside temples to preserve its sanctity. Only then a temple will be useful to others. What is the use of thousands of people going into a building and looking at a stone and throw flowers at it?

A temple has a meaning and purpose behind it. We need to understand it and mould ourselves according to it, not vice-versa. If you want to worship God, you can worship him anywhere, not just in a temple.

TO ALL THE SCIENTIFIC AND LOGICAL IDIOTS
by Dheeraj Akula on Jun 05, 2007 04:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Science and logic have a place in the world. They are certainly useful. But, they are not everything. We acknowledge the service of science and logic to this world, we bow down to them (and we also remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki).

Electrons, protons, neutrons, Newton's laws, Einstein's theory --- these do nopt explain everything.

There is much more to life than science and logic.

Mother's love has no science and logic.

The love between a boy and a girl has no science and logic.

Grow up, scientific and logical idiots! There is a lot more in this world than science and logic.

you idiot - there is a deep logic in love - its called preserving your genetic code.

A mother loves her child because the child should outlive the mother and then continue sustaining the original genetic code.
It is also essential for the survival of humans as this allows a better chance to infants to survive and procreate.
Same logic to love b/w boy and girl - they are both looking for their best possible partner to sire an offspring with the best available genome code.
right back at ya

You are not wrong, but you do not have the complete picture.

You are still thinking at the physical level.

"Same logic to love b/w boy and girl - they are both looking for their best possible partner to sire an offspring with the best available genome code." I am left speechless at this statement. You are not wrong, but you are not right either. You have reduced love to genetics and genome code.

I wish the best possible genome code for your offspring!

The logic applies only to the physical aspects of love. Love is much more than that. It has higher dimensions. People like you can not understand.

now who's talking about multiple dimensions.

I am one of the few people who believe that spirituality(not relegion) and science are both looking for the same thing - the ultimate truth or god or grand unified theory, whatever you like to call it.
The main difference b/w the two is that relegion(nothing to do with spirituality) tries to quash the free thinking required for humans to grow whereas science allows its followers to pursue the end in whichever way they deem fit.

Forget religion and love, you are not even fit to be called scientic and logical.

In the past, science belived that everything is matter. Everything can be explained in terms of chemical reactions and concepys of physics.

But, today's science has matured enough to understand that evrything is not matter. Mind is superior to matter. The chemical reactions, hormonal reactions, your "neural circuits" --- these are all effects of mind, not the causes. Mind drives them, and matter follows.

Get your science and logic right! You are not even scientific and logical. You can never hope to understand religion. Religion is not unscientific. Religion goes beyond science.

The debate between science and religion is outdated. Today both of them are converging. Each has its own place, and they are not in conflict with each other, excel in the minds of some people who know neither of them. Some idiots do not understand that.
