The main reason they rejected Kalam for 2nd term when NDA proposed this, was because he didnt act on Afzals mercy plea. How can Kalam act on something which he has not recieved at all [if what he claims is right] ?

And then, it is the regional poilitical outfits like Shiv Sena, SP, BSP, DMK,AGP who are against the growth of the nation in a single direction. Why didnt Dr.Kalam while he was president clarify the position about the hanging of Afzal? ( now says that he had not received any papers from the government) ?

Dont blem to CONGRESS & Other Party, We literate people should have to gather & do the compaign agaist this type of dirty politiciance, give the vote against this dirty (RASCAL) politiciance, Very Imp. is we also should have to capaign in very village & gaon gaon and teach & give the education to illiterate & poor people, so they will also become a literates & educated like us. It was a ploy by UPA where they gave a picture as if democracy was in peril in Bihar with horse trading going on. Kalam like a nice gentleman tried to stop it, but later realised his error.

It is a known fact that everything is usual in politics and they can change the plate according to their whims and fancies not according to norms and principles. Now, it is known where the ball the struck and many things may come out from this hold back of the file. In a way, better the file was not sent back to President - otherwise, they would have even branded him as showing favourtism towards own religious man or else he would have attracted unwanted criticism from Muslim community if decided the other way.
