When you as a Tamil(?) can be attracted to someone who was born in Srilanka and is of Malayali origin (based on your ID) why can't he?

My attraction to the Great Leader MGR is becaus e of his principles.

You wont understand, MGR was one of greatest persons lived in INdia, he was the man who strengthened Tamilnadu's bonds with rest of india and he destroyed separatista nd naxalist forces in TN.

Wrong, Jaya was not a blood relation of MGR, she was chosen by MGR because she was the best (among available lot) to confront the politics of separatist karunanidhi.

Dynasty means allowing children to become rulers in place of parents. Like what karuna is doing today.

Dont you think the main difference has been Rahul has been thought as INEXPerienced by his mom for any position as opposed to a 19 year old who has been given Chairman of the party as per will.

It is not black and white as can be perceived.

I must admit that Sonia is little better than the counterpart Zardari not to name her son directly as AICC president. Anyway he is just waiting to grab MMS's chair.

Dynasty politics. Who are behind such dynasty politics? Obviously, the party folks. They know that the party will become a non-entity and all the effort they have put all these years will be wasted. Poor Bilawal has come under pressure and has succumbed to it. As time progresses, he get in the grove and be like any other politician, unless his basics are good.

PARTITION IS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO INDIA...
by MGR Fan on Dec 30, 2007 09:47 PM  Permalink

Infact if partition did not happen, imagine the Al Queda, Musharaf, Pak Army, ISI, Taliban all will be part of India and everyday there willbe a communal riot and civil war.

Partition is the best thing that happened to India. Let Pakistan solve its problems, let not India get disturbed by Pak and INdia does not want to have the terrorists on its soil. See the progress Indian muslims have made, vs the regression of Pakistan...

Faltu tamasha.....janata are the idiots.
by yohayoha on Dec 30, 2007 09:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

First Benazir was hiding in foreign when corruption charges were pressed againest her and then she came to grab the opportunity to become PM and then she claims that she is here to restore democracy. Now she names her husband as the successor who does not have any self belief in his abilities and he in turn gifts the throne to his 19 years kid. Nawaz sharif wants to postpone the elections because he knows that the sympathy factor is going to drown his party in elections. Jardari senses the opportunity and says he is going to persuade sherif not to boycott elections. What a tribute to democracy!!!!! PPP is naming some puppet PM just like over here who will be controlled by Zardari and 19 year old kid playing PS3 in Oxford. Ohhhh.....we have barka covering all this great democratic process for NDTV live from larkana as if there is dearth of issues in India. Shame one these people.

SO ARE WE RETURNING TO MONARCHY/KINGS RULE ?
by MGR Fan on Dec 30, 2007 09:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bhutto's Son is next PPP chief, Karuna has made his family the owners of DMK, COngress is owned by Sonia Gandhi family, NCP owned by Pawar Family, SP owned by Mulayam family, RJD by Laloo Family, Telugu Desam by Naidu Family, JDS by Gowda Family, Shiv Sena by Thakeray Family, what is this democracy, I say it is all return to king's rule.

Same case in USA, Bush family vs Clinton Family, atleast there some choice is given by way of inter party democracy. Democracy where one family rules over everything is not democracy, it is feudalism

Democracy means people should select leader from common man, not from some politician's family.
