What Foreign Policy are we talking about. Kissing Russia's back, Letting China build roads in our land while we flirt with others wife in Kashmir Lake?

Did we even have a foreign policy? So what are we loosing. Instead of kissing a communist back we are now kissing a capitalist back. So what is the difference. Taste?

Better to believe Russia and Iran.

There are some countries, who can deal w/ any damn, rough w/o any problems.
by mr on Aug 10, 2007 06:44 PM  Permalink

There are some countries, who can deal w/ any damn, rough w/o any problems, why India bother about others, when dealing w/ the right choice.
We need to come out of dream land cinema & drama & try to utilize our energy for scientific activities & development of energy related activities. Foreign policy means align with suitable people time to time based on our threats & necessities & take the example of others, how they deal. Also, trust good friends strongly who come with helping hand.
When we try ourselves struggle w/ regional, religional problems, poltical, parties problems, others who w/o any problems will grow in front of me, we will be again stupids.

what's Iran done for India?
by SANJEEV KUMAR on Aug 10, 2007 06:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am at loss to understand Indians speaking up for Iran's right to have nuclear weapons. when has Iran done anything for India? During 1971 war, they helped Pakistan AirForce. On kashmir, they blindly support pakistan. So, why are Indians supporting this one-sided friendship?

Nuclear deal won't affect foreign policy'
by babu on Aug 10, 2007 06:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India is the only country in the world to which USA agreed to give nuclear cooperation without signing the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty
Experts said the USA agreed to give India advance, long-term permission to reprocess U.S.-origin nuclear material once New Delhi builds a new reprocessing facility that would only use such material.
This is happening despite the fact that the Americans "do not give consent rights to reprocess except to our closest allies, Japan and Euratom,
The 123 agreement also says that while the United States might cut off nuclear cooperation in the event of an Indian nuclear test, it will seek to ensure India continues receiving fuel from other sources.
Australia signaled Thursday it is edging toward a decision to sell uranium to India despite the refusal by New Delhi to sign the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

India would become Australia's first uranium customer that is not part of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

Stop joking, we can read english and understand the 123 agreement. No right to reprocess has been given and there is no assurance of fuel supplies. What is worse is that the US can terminate the agreement and will and all civilian reactors would still be under safeguards although no fuel is available
