Haneef had links with radicals
by anantha krishna on Aug 02, 2007 10:35 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I feel the present govt (state and Central) is supporting Dr Haneef only for Vote Bank politics. But if the support is for the good then it is fine else the state and central govt are harbouring terrorism. Actually the State and central govt should not have involved instead had allowed just the legal system to take over. The PM and CM will be ashamed if Dr Haneef is found guilty of the act not only that it also shows how they are running the present govt.

PM and K'ka CM are shameless creatures... They would still do things to appease minorities... I dont know why Mr. Kumaraswamy had to go to airport to receive a terror suspect... Its a shame... Terror suspects should be treated as 'Guilty until proven harmless'... Whole humanity is facing extinction problem thanks to these terrorists and misled youth...

As said by our opposition party, BJP that the present UPA Govt. soft towards terrorists is proved to be correct.

In order to please the minority community, our useless politicians are not taking severe action against the terrorists.

Indian Government should now keep himself from this......
by Anuranjan Mohnot on Aug 02, 2007 10:34 AM  Permalink

Its good that Indian government acted promptly when Australian government was trying to level some or other charges on Haneef even if there was no material in their hands...

However, government should resist himself from making any comments on innocency or otherwise of Dr. Haneef...let there be a fair investigation..after all thousands of people die every year due to militancy

Its shit to accuse INNOCENT
by Joshua Koshy on Aug 02, 2007 10:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Just because Haneef is a Muslim and has a bread, is already enough proof that he is a terrorist. There are already thousands like him suffering unfortunate fate because of their religion. I don't think anybody should jump to conclusions about Haneef until a fair trail is handed to him. If he is innocent, who will pay-back his lost diginity and the torture he might have suffered and all the writings in this blog? PITY!

IT is wrong to kill people or walk with ak 47, but Sanjay Dutt wasnt a Muslim. Infact, if you know Islam, you wouldnt kill innocent people. That is what all religions teach, but followers are not neccessarily good examples and exteremisits are present in all religions with probablity that Islam has the largest. So, dont blame religion nor profession.

He is a Suspicious Character...
by Rajeev Venkat on Aug 02, 2007 10:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its very obvious that this chap is a serious suspect. In the interview after his release he clearly flunked in answering the reason for a one-way ticket that too in such a hurry. Also the transcript of his interrogation also gives away clearly that he was aware of the plot if not involved. Its clear he had links with Terrorists. You should have seen his face during the interview while trying to explain the one-way ticket.

Its only in India that the media gives a Terror suspect a Hero's welcome, the useless PM loses sleep over his well-being, the Foreign Minister asks his counterpart to deal with him as a State Guest & above all the Chief Minister of the State rushes to pay his respects to him. We Indians, are really spineless characters. As soon as this guy arrives in India, he starts sporting a prominent beard. Dotn be surprised if he contests the next election on a Samajwadi or a Congress ticket. Useless Politicians!!!

I find it surprising why the Aussies let him go.

The last line that you have written says it all. If there was so much suspiciion why would they let him go? And why are these reports coming out now, when they have let him free? Why didnt they release it officially earlier? Maybe this is a patch up job by the Ausy government. Also, being a Muslim doesnt help his cause. I pray that the truth comes out. If he is guilty he should be punished. Till then he is innocent.

See just because he was in australia he got released fast and they dont have Tada or any special law for detaining people with such activities. do you know about MR.Madani who has been released yesterday after 9 years of custody for suspicion. He did not have any direct link or conspiracy. just suspicion. If haneef gets arrested in india he will eat sh...

I agree to your view point absolutely. I had mentioned earlier that Australian civility saved him. If he was in any other country he would not have seen sunshine for years before his release.Innocent or guilty

The minorities in India are hurt despite of enjoying the secularism and freedom of practicing the religion in India unlike any other nations where hinduism is neither propogated nor forced on anyone.

It is high time the leaders of india divulge in finding out the cause and iradicating the illfeeling that has been created in the mindset of the minorities.

This is the only way to avoid minorities coming under terrorism scanner in india and even after doing so still they prefer terrorism to peace then they should be punished.

Why should any haneef or kafeel or sabeel plot plans and sow seeds of terrorism

Haneef has been nutured in india and the basics amenities that he availed in india only promoted him to be a doctor in australia. He ate food grown in indian soil. i hope he realises this at the back of his mind that he is indebted to india in some way or other for what he is then why should he become a terrorist?

Dr. Haneef's saga is highly suspicious
by Greg Chappell on Aug 02, 2007 10:25 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have seen the interview of Dr. Haneef by the Australian news agency. One Blond lady was taking his interview. When she asked Dr. Haneef the reason to rush back India on one way ticket ( please remember that his daughter born 20 days back, but not 1 or 2 days back), Dr. Haneef could not able to answer properly. If he needs to join back to the hospital after certain number of days, then definitely he should have bought to and fro air ticket.

This is indeed highly suspicious activity and I am sure that Indian intelligence department is just waiting for an evidence and he will be grilled if found guilty.

We can not show mercy to the terrorist. if he is guilty, then he must be punished accordingly.

Killing human or plot for destructive activities is 100% punishable crime irrespective of nationality, cust and religion.
