Threatened Indian Conscience....The threat is from within....Change is a must.
by ratnajayant gudavally on Aug 03, 2007 07:37 AM

As long as such threat s are received by true Indian judiciary, it makes more genuine ....the guilt of the guilty.

This should be the measuring standard of support of Bolly wood and other coterie whom they are supporting and sympathesing with.......Confused Indian masses.

They can even fight for the the Fathers of terror and destructions all over the world...such is the degree of sycophancy....they have got to be to be educated.....from slave mentality.

They are being exploited employing them to do the hard and mean jobs in lakhs.....abroad. Sad state.

India can not provide them survival ...they are prepared to die in the seas and deserts. Sad pity.

I agree with Mt. Shenoy's article...unfortunately "nobody is above the law" is not true. Corrupt politicians in India are above the law.

T V R Shenoy, You look very cheap and small when you write like this for a person who had shown great corporation, patience and improvement in last 14 years. He had enough money at the age of 34, he could had easily settled anywhere in the world like Dawood. So don't throw all your big words for a person who respect law.
Name a politician who had remained under law in india ..Law is a joke for them.

The article is not about Sanjay Dutt respecting the law. It is about his breaking the law - getting punishment for it as per the law & to drive some sense into blind emotional fans & cunning filmwallahs trying to manipulate the justice.

just don't blindly support a person who is indirectly responsible for so many deaths in Mumbai. You are just playing with the emotions of people who lost their near and dear ones in the serial blast.
The author is hit the nail on the head it is a very good article.
BOTTOMLINE: You are responsible for your actions.

Bravo again and again TVR Shenoy,

A man, who does not know the pangs of death and the destitution of the breadwinners in a city like Mumbai, has no right to ask for pity from the same people...

Those who think law is a different entity with out a human face, they are wrong.

PEOPLE ARE THE ENTITY BEHIND THE LAW WHICH PROTECTS THEM...IT IS PEOPLE's VERDICT ! Legal procedure and administrators are paid by the people to enforce law against injustices to the society.

Thanks to the British...otherwise people would have been under the jungle laws in such circumstances where people exhibit terrorist fancy killing traits of humans ...THE INDIANS in this case.

Those who support such lawbreakers are to be them selves brought under the purview of law for abetment. ...including those who fight for such people legally too.

Urgent Message to TVR Shenoy

Just tell me Mr. Shenoy if tommorow you get a call from D-Company what will you do just tell me frankly you will do the same as other people have been doing , just take in the istance of Sanjay Case do you even know why he required the gun's if you see the situation ok he has done the mistake and he has already suffered 18 months for that. there is one things called probation and a chance should be given to a person to rectify himself , we all know that he is not hardened criminal it was the case of politics coz of sunil dutt and sanjay had his wild ways. What about Politicans we all know they kill people for everything and then still we vote for them. infact not only vote but we pray them thats really pity i say "Yes THERE IS NO ONE ABOVE LAW" but a person should get a chance to become better and good in life. Dont we deserve to give him one chance atleast. He is really very nice person and always done so much for other people and he will still do it in better. Let me tell you he is not a politician though he was a politician then he would have scott free. Well all i can say either you have some personal issues with Sanjay Dutt or there is some hidden Agenda. if you really want then catch the more corupted people who we even know then also we cant even write or say something to them. I want to see your face when some one from D-Company or underworld person call you and say that your family is finished then what we will you do. You will ensure there safety and your

Raman,

I missed to reply to your first question on, "what if you get a call from D-Company.."

I would do..
1. Kill myself
OR
2. If Mr. D say they will kill my family, then I might keep the Ak-47s. And if caught by police, I will be ready to take any punishment (years/life term) and my heart/mind will have mixed thoughts of being sad (bcoz in some ways I am responsible for the blast) and happy (to save my family).

Raman, you are right buddy in some ways.

A big but,
Why are you feeling so worried only for Sanjay? why not for Abu Salem? or other 100 people who are now in jail for 93 blasts and they are also clean after the blast.
Also, what if tomorrow I execute a blast at airport/public place (assume I get million dollars for that operation), and I am very happy to get punished for 1/2/5 years in jail and after coming out will have a luxury life. Is it OK with you or people suffered in blast?

Also, I can give lot more such examples but you and me don't have time to spend on this.

Sanjay son of Sunil Dutt a congress leader must be given another chance because he is the brother of an MP and son of Sunil and Nargis. So he must be considered not as ordinary citizen of this country. Is this your argument Mr. Raman Gupta? You dont feel sorry for others who were punished in ths mumbai blast case. Funny, very funny

Appreciate rediff and Mr Shenoy for this kind of message
by Ritesh Sisodiya on Aug 03, 2007 05:54 AM  | Hide replies

I really appreciate the truth which Shenoy has mentioned above. In last few years, our judiciary has come up hard on high profile people. They are slowly and slowly proving that nobody is above the law. I hope our system can be improved upto such a limit that any one in India can breath easily due to this improvment.

Mr Sanjay Dutt was involved in illegal activities and he should be punished more severly so that noone can dare to do such kind of activity.

Jai Hind.

Ritesh,

Very well said, this will be a benchmark and send out warning signal for high profile people. I feel little pity for Sanjy, but can bear that for the better future of the country.

People like chautala, devilal, mulayam singh, Mayawati, etc.... etc... are all above the law...Dutt is an actor not a politician and it looks like a good example in the eyes of the public,...obviously what he did was wrong. The police always seem to catch bollywood stars to make examples but politicians always manage, some how to slip out?!

I agree with you. For one it is easy to pick on soft targets.
Actors make for easy targets and results are highly visible to keep gullible people happy.
I do think though some more punishment like maybe another year would have been more appropriate since what he did was unlawful but magnitude is a bit harsh.
There are tons of such criminal and dangerous politicians in UP/Bihar but they hardly ever are convicted. In very rare cases if there is some really serious charge(few murders etc) then maybe.
I would be happier if some of those politicians got the rap. Putting a person who would not have harmed anyone for such a long term is useless. Even a year more would have set an example.
