Unfortunately our President is disillusioned
by PPD on Jun 08, 2006 05:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

"After flying this sortie, I know realise that India is in safe hands, our borders are safe. We have such good pilots, and good defence personnel."

Here he is in disillusion
1. India is not in safe hands , its very much in the hands of Selfish, corrupt ,dishonest politicians who work SOLELY for their( & party's) benefit

2. secondly Our borders may be somewhat safe fm. outside but inside itself its facing so much damage by Selfish policies and activities of our Politicians and corrupt ,ineffecient Govt. machinery

Pls Convey this comment of mine to the President if someone of you can pls do that, and also that He shoud restrain himself from commenting such ABSOLUTELY FALSE things...instead he should think of ways in which he can reduce corruption and bad policies of Govt ..
Thanks

You are twice as disillusioned as anybody out there. What has the Prez got to do with politics. The politicians are elected by you folks. So blame yourselves. He was merely commenting about and motivating the air force. Btw if you dont knwo the Prez is not elected by selfish people and thats why we have a good one. Politics is a reflection of society and the people within. Look inwards my friend.

The sortie indicates your level of fitness. The nation is definitely proud to have President of your stature.
It may not be a bad idea to assess the effort which has gone into this sortie, including the visit of Vice Chief from Delhi. Your personal visit and connected arrangements.

Error
by aral on Jun 08, 2006 03:08 PM  Permalink

There is the typological error in the speed of Su30-MKI mentioned in the article.
Do you mean to say that the President of India came back in one piece after flying at the speed of a space rocket i.e 15000km/hr calculates to Mach 12.6. None of the supersonic aircraft flies more than Mach 3.

You wrote:
"Wing Commander Ajay Rathore, Commanding Officer of the SU-30 MKI squadron, flew the President at a speed of 15,000 km per hour"

It must be 1500 km per hour as no jet in the present age could travel that fast.

Correct it.

After flying this sortie, I know realise that India is in safe hands, our borders are safe. We have such good pilots, and good defence personnel.
THESE TWO LINES ARE SUFFICIENT FOR THE INDIAN AIR FORCE TO BOOST.

15000 km/hr !!
by vagesh on Jun 08, 2006 01:55 PM  Permalink

I think there was a typing mistake.....1 Mach corresponds to approx. 1100 km/hr and super-sonic limit is 4 mach! beyond 4 mach it will be hypersonic!
