You article describes the true face of India. War can only be won from war. That is true sometimes and definitely in this case. America not only went on war with weapons and missiles but also garnered support through intense diplomatic efforts for clamping on the terrorist outfits. It is America, who states that Israel has a right to defend itself when just one soldier is captured. Our politicians should take some lessons and bring America to state the same for India. One statement that India should and has the right to attack where he feels the terrorist are, could work wonders and bring peace. Weapons may not be the only way you win wars. For terrorism and gureilla attacks, we need to inflict fear in the minds of people supporting these terror organizations, unfortunately our leaders look for good weather to travel abroad and not the toughest weather.
Yes really enough is enough..when we look towards properity..people get killed by terrorist in india almost everyday.. kashmir issue is going on from ages, when we will put an end.
Its a matter of nation, not the vote bank, politics or religion..can't we keep our personal interest seperate for some time & think only for nation..
Sai, I completely agree with you and I am glad that we still have some people left in India who think like you.....sadly we do not have them in the political arena where it matters the most. I was watching CNN yesterday where our honorable Prime Minister's speech was being read out. Immediately after the speech was read out the girl at the news desk asked a political advisor " How can Indians remain calm and at peace as advised by Mr. Manmohan Singh?" Imagine this is how a news correspondent staying in America thought about the whole thing. Whereas I know a lot of my friends in Delhi who told me that how does it really matter it did not happen in Delhi. So I guess Sai we cant really blame the politicians. After all they are human-beings like us. It is the thinking of the so called common man on the streets that needs to be changed. Almost 80% people in our country stay with their parents till about 18-20 and do not go to a boarding school. I never did a part time job when I was in school. The facts that I have mentioned are very relevant as it leads to one conclusion and i.e. as a society we are soft, lazy and that is the reason why we allow a handful of people to destroy India.
Excellent article Suresh. There is only one way to stop occurences like this from happening. Nuke the Pakis!! After that India as well as the whole world will live in peace!
I fully agree with your views, but my question is who is listening ang who would start the much needed rebellion in our country to crush the political terrorists that are been breeded in our own backyards. We keepinf hearing and reading the phrase "THE SPIRIT OF MUMBAIKAR".This I believe is just to pacify we all in mumbai, but enough is enough,we have been taken for granted and we as a spirit have been taking things lying down.A rebellion is required to change and improve the entire system.
