Enough is enough!!
by BhuvanaSathish on Jul 12, 2006 06:54 PM  Permalink

I agree with Mr.Saisureshsivasamy.Yes, its a great massacre.I was stunned and after hearing the news yesterday i did'nt have my breakfast.India's to take immediate action to stop this terrorism. Believe me i'm in New Jersey, after hearing the terrorist attack news, within a minute USA has tightened up the security in all the subways and path stations.

India shld be like this.I feel very bad, eventhough the IIS insitute Bangalore got a threat call, they did'nt even care and finally terrorists attacked.India definitely should grow up.

Sai,

You are right on target with your text. Extremely apt piece of text.

The lumps of masses sitting in Delhi don't fucking understand this simple thing. This is not the British empire that we are fighting. The left cheek right cheek slapping doesn't work here.

The thoughts are perfectly portrayed.

It really reflects the maturity of your understanding of situation....

Sounds naive aint it.... broodinga nd praising without any material effect...

That's what we've been doing since ages. And that's what exactly our Politicians are doing now. I for one don't understand what we should or can do. i don't squarely blame our govts for this situation. But i don't knwo the solution either.

How I wish Gandhi was overtaken by Bose, or atleast Bhagat Singh lived on to take up the reigns of India, we would be of a different frame of mind. Not to say that resilence isn't good, but it should be backed by a strong cast of attacking virtues.... sadly we never had or have it...

I feel so hopeless and sulking...

Can you help us stand for the cause? We, the youth of India spread across many cities in India want to do something. Who can help us and provide a perfect way to channelise our anger to uplift the poorest of poor on this earth, my country.

If we follow what you have preached, then there would be no India....but there would be pakistan, iran, iraq etc......:-(

Hi Pranav,
It's time to get united and fight against this. We have lot of things to do. First of all, we need to prepare the checklist of all the things that we need to do for improving current situation in India. We don't want to waste our time in protesting against it but we need to get together and start working on the checklist. The checklist will contains lot of points. I am mentioning few of them over here:
1. Way our immigration process works.
2. Way our BSF (Border Security Force) works. They need to find out how & from where these people are getting RDX.
3. We need to educate as many Indian people as we can. There must be uneducated people behind these blasts.
4. We need to create jobs for all as only jobless people do these kinds of things.
5. The last but not least, we should not allow people to forget about these blasts. We should always keep the memories of these blasts (like black day).

Enough is not enough

I do not agree with the author's views. War can be fought with war? A brick for a brick .....and the whole world becomes blind.

"Declaring war on terrorists" is not as easy as it sounds. "Displaying your power" is not about "missiles" and "tanks" and "guns". Should we be so afraid that terrorists would use out Rights, our freedoms, to attack us that we restrict those rights for our own people? Gouge out my own eyes, scratch out my own nose to spite my face?

The solution is not WAR.

THE SOLUTION IS NOT A ONE LINER.

It is much more complex and much more diffucult. It involves building bridges between people, communities and nations. It involves developing structures - social, moral, legal, economic, that will protect us from the antisocial, from the immoral, from the illegal, from the anti-economic.

So that when the times comes to fight, we wont have to: There will be no enemy.

The water is going above the head now
by Rational Indian on Jul 12, 2006 06:48 PM  Permalink

About time the Indian State deals with these War Mongers not with Kid Gloves but with a Determined Mind and an Iron Fist. To start with create a New thoroughly Professional, Absolutely Autonomous and largely Apolitical Intelligence Unit and let the Sole Agenda of its Agents be to take this war to the very homes of the bloodletters. Let the Director of this Unit report directly to the Indian Prime Minister or President of the day. Make examples of those who inflict mindless violence on innocent Indian civilians that they and those who harbour them, will meet similar if not more brutal ends. Hunt them down, be they in Pak, POK, Middle East, Europe, or wherever. Get at them, Pound them, Blast their homes, Kill those that they love and who love them, Slaughter them. These bloodletters are brutes and do not deserve an iota of mercy. Once an impression goes across that the perpetrators of such massacres will be treated as Enemies of the Indian State and dealt with brutally each and every time, it is only a matter of a few years that these attacks cease altogether or atleast come down in frequency. The whole idea is to put the fear of death and God into the minds of these fans of terror.

absolute truth
by Anish on Jul 12, 2006 06:44 PM  Permalink

I support your thoughts, it time india shows some guts, there has always been international pressures on us , but whenever there is a terrorist attack on either US or UK, then its action time for them, when the attack is on us, they ask us to show restrain, and have the matter solved peacfully.

Its bloody time we show the gun to them as well as fire it, rather than just showing it which has been happening in the past.
