Enough is enough
by babahanda on Jul 12, 2006 08:31 PM  Permalink

I am in total agreement with the author. If we ever want to stand up and be counted as a nation it is now. The government must declare its intentions in unambiguous terms and inform the world community that cleaning up Pakistan will clean up terror. What other countries have failed to do, India must go ahead and do it on its own, and we have the where with all to do so. All we need is political will and resolve, can some one supply us that please?

enough is enough

All of us are easily forgetting one thing. Nobody is having any value, for anything and everything, for anybody and everbody. We are not for share and care and becominng self centered. We are not used to the art of live and let live. In family, society any where MONEY is the only Scale to measure. Even swamiji's are becoming more of materilistic and selfish. Enough is not enough to understand our Mistakes. Nature may take it's course to make the mankind to understand their mistake by means terrorism, earth quake, rain, no rain etc. etc. There is no alternate to the nature's LAW. I have my own doubt "what kind of world, we are going to leave for our next generation"?

Brilliant article..The entire nation has been held to ransom by terrorists and we are silently suffering for years and years..just becos Indians feel that we live for ever and so death is only a passing phenomenon!!!!..
Our great Prime Minister, FM and President will keep saying India cannot bend down..India will remain courageous..etc etc and then they will cosily go back to their offices and sleep peacefully..For the people who suffered, life will never be the same again..I fully agree that we hv to take the bull (terrorists) by its horns and show the world that we are MEN!!!..and not Bahus and Saas!!!

Time to hit back hard
by shasikanth malipeddi on Jul 12, 2006 08:27 PM  Permalink

Although I am not a fan of Mr.Bush going on a war to Iraq which did not have anything to do with the terror attacks in NY, I really think it is high time that India wakes up to the fact that we are being hit on the face by the enemies of peace and we need to respond. The non-responsive nature of our great country makes me wonder if we are the most sincere followers of Gandhiji in showing the other cheek. Even Ghandhiji had only the second cheek to show and here we are being hit in different parts of our motherland still not willing to launch an offensive against terrorism. It is not like we do not have ability. Remember the brave efforts of the Indian army to get back the Kargil region or the single man army who on the entire group of militants to ensure the safety of the people at Aksharadham. All we need is a motivated leadership at the political end. Even our civilian population demostrated that in the way they responded to the yesterday crisis. I think now is the time to start hitting back at all terrorist organizations and relieve India from this long lasting devil.

Sai, your piece was bang on! It's one thing to posssess the power and completely another to have the gumption and the nerve to use it.

These terror strikes are an act of war against India and I thing its high time we stood up for our country with PRIDE and deliver a KNOCK OUT punch against these scum of the earth.

Israel, for all the criticism against it, defends itself so resolutely against the terrorists. It's a matter of national pride and self pride. I do hope we can find the consensus within our great nation and pick up our arms against these criminals!

Peace,

Rajan
