Enough is Enough --is Enough......
by soney on Jul 12, 2006 11:48 PM  Permalink

I dont blame you for thinking that way. Even i feel like thrashing out the 'outfits' from India. But, thats easier said than done. Do you think India should wage a war against Pakistan? Well, there'll be a nuclear war in the package.

Please dont compare the United States with India. Even with such large criticism from around the globe, they went ahead. That itself proves how easily they control the world like a puppet on strings.

Moreover, do you, in any way, think that the United States did the right thing? Did they avenge their anger by killing hundreds of innocent lives? All Dubya wanted was an entry into Asia, a better check on China and cheap oil. The Afghan and Iraq invasions were strictly business. Check out the number of American companies winning all the renovation and oil projects in these two countries.

There is only one solution to these problems. The world needs another super power. A match for the United Stated. I see that in China.

This is the best essay I have read since independence. With impotent governments and leg pulling politics that the poticians practise it is very unlikely that we retain freedom or regain it afterwards. We have learnt to accept terror by foreign nationals or their followers within the country as a routine exercise. We can compromise all our national values to appease followers of foreign religion.

They(terrorists) believe in action and we are excellent at debates, discussions, polls, precautions to be taken everything other than taking counter action.

CONCLUSION : Get prepared for more blasts everything here is Rambharose.

Enough is enough

Blame him, blame her, blame me, blame them. We are best at it.
The amount of disparity based on religion, region, language, poverty, amount of power and control all these trigger people in sects to take rules in their hands. Its not at all justified but yaa its happening turn your face anywhere.
What we saw in Mumbai/Srinagar sorry incidents were the highest peak of these things. The thought that triggers all these things the feeling that there is difference that may be pushing the youth into wrong direction has to be dealt with more than hitting around unseen enimies.
More and more people are getting corrupt on various levels be it me and you or be it the respected politicians. We no doubt want to have a better place for everyone but there is a need of solidarity, faith, submission getting rid of greed and personal benefits.
We are a big Nation and we need to do something nice to it, its really tragic to see terrorism. I can only believe someday people with utter power wake up rather than teaching corruption and selfishness they can spread a better message and carry out the nation as a real nation rather than a spineless crawling creature. Hope India is a better place one day.

The Final wakeup call
by Aditya on Jul 12, 2006 11:29 PM  Permalink

You make some very good points in this essay. I would like to follow those up with a few of my own observations.
1. These attacks aren't a Hindu/Muslim issue anymore. It is now a question of national security, and the government of India should take that threat to heart and act accordingly.
2. Let's be honest, the days of pan chewing lathi clad Hawaldars are over. This terror menace is something that requires an extremely professional and highly trained police force; those changes have to be implemented right away.
3. Like it or not, India is now a regional power; it has to start behaving like one by using its muscle to get all the neighboring states to fall in line with its agenda.
4. Special OPS should be the new mantra. Aircraft carriers and ICBMs are great, however they are not the tools for this fight.Special operations forces are a proven remedy to this problem, look no further than Israel. The fact that someone like Dawood Ibrahim is still alive is a slap in the face to all Indians regardless of their religion. It is high time we use our new found wealth to arm and train such troops and finally take the fight to the perpetrators.
5. This is our FINAL wakeup call.

How much is an Indian life worth?
by Krishna on Jul 12, 2006 11:20 PM  Permalink

Well we have had another serial bomb blast, around 250 people killed, scores injured, but have we not heard this story before? Do we not know who is responsible for these acts? What do we do about them? I say we won't do anything.

We will have our leaders condemning this attack in the strictest terms, they will ask the government from across the border to clamp down on terrorism and that is it.

Which brings me to ask, how much is an Indian life worth? Take the example of Israel, a soldier was kidnapped and they bomb Palestine left, right and centre. They show that they mean business, they value their countryman's life. We, on the other hand are meek and will satisy ourselves by condemning this act. Life will carry on as usual, we will have more attacks but our response will be to condemn them and wait for the next one.
