The best tribute to them would be to make one of their own airline make a U turn after taking off from Delhi, escort it back to Delhi with our MIGs, and then just frisk exclusively and selectively those who are Dutch on board, handcuff them, and replicate the total software that was applied upon the Indians by them.
Then only these idiots would realize what blunder they had made.
The uncivilized here are not those who were frisked.
The friskers created a global faarus.
Scared of imagined terrorism, the white men are proving their stupidity.
Can U dream to do that barbarians like this? Where is HR commission sleeping? Unnecessary putting into cells causing troubles when not proved should be compensated by 1million USD each from the concerned dept/employee.Then only handcuffing without proof will b avoided. In India also it should be effected.
this media and the useless india government's foreign ministry !!! the racism factor has been created by these politicians and to add to the shame of this country, the govt. of india has lodged a protest with the dutch. now what would india govt. say when 7 flights have been taken back under fighter supervision in the USA today? racism? shame on india govt. these 12 people who brought bad name to the country should be fined heavily.
very unfortunate. but many times we also contribute to this. keep on exchanging seats in the aircraft, talking loudly, not switching off phones inspite of repeated requests - these happen very often in domestic fllights too. it is irritating for other passengers and causes suspicions.

ur rite, about the civic norms, which every human shud adhere when he travels in planes, trains whatsoever. But yaar in this case we are not talking of humans, these were 12 muslims, so cant really expect them to adhere rules applicable for other humans.SO ALL AND EVERYONE, please give muslims the exception, They shud be allowed to roam, dance and sing in the plane while in takeoff.

I fully agree. There are some basic civic norms. Acting in a suspicious manner like applauding to an incoming mobile phone call, working on laptops during take off etc. is extremely suspicious. This can be done only in domestic flights- not on international flights. They should be happy that in the melee they werent shot by air marshals. And above all they should be fully responsible for the overall extra costs occured to other passengers.
there are some norms and rules that have to be follwed while flying & if they are not adhered to then anyboidy will be suspicious about the movements . talking on mobile phones, not adhereing to the suggestions offered by marshals is obviously arousing suspision,so the moral of the story is :adhere to the rules while flying 7 dont be ur boss.
What were they expecting after such unruly behavior that caused so much problems for all the passengers ? 5 STAR TREATMENT ? I cant believe that Indian Gov is just going to allow these fools to walk free. They should be fined heavily and made an example for all future passengers who dont follow the regular travel rules while on board a aircraft. For starters I think their travel privileges should be revoked for a year or more.
Media reports say that those guys acted funny by not wearing seat belts etc. They tried to be over smart and they DESERVE what they GOT. I won't blame the Dutch.
I am not amazed after reading the article. No one really knows today who is innocent and who is a millitant. Not only the millitants, people with underworld connections, directly or indirectlyare also under the radar of international intelligence. Indirectly in the sence family and friends of people who have dirct connection with the underworld. For the safety of the greater lot these things can become routine and more common in future. every nation today is suffering today because of some fools who tend to think temselves very smart. These lot don't have the rights to live in this civilized world. The most area of concern is that the target of these people are common innocent mass. If the people of this planet diverts their focus from removing poverty and other necessary work that should be done and divulge their money and energy towards such stupid cause then we can expect such things to be repeated more and more in the future.
According to the TOI, very clearly the passengers were using cellphones and laptops while the flight was readying to takeoff. One of the other Asian passengers confirmed this and in addition, requested them not to do so - which they ignored. Frankly, this is a basic security requirement and if they ignored it, they should have known they had trouble coming. What did they expect, that they would do whatever they liked and the authorities would not act? The international airline security environment is hypersensitive now and it is better to err on the side of caution. Unfortunately I have seen several Indian passengers - on both domestic and international flights - flagrantly voilating the cellphone rule, as if the rules applied to everyone except them. If there has been an error on the side of the Dutch authorities, certainly make them apologise - but if the cellphone and laptop allegation is true, I think it is a good opportunity to educate some of our travellers who think they are above the law.
