Music in Duet movie is more good than any other film in Hindi.
There are more great tamil music made by him, Movies like jeans, iruvar, Kadhal Desam, Minsara Kanavu, and the list goes on...
But now he was cheating the tamil viewers he was just copying what he did in Hindi, and shows poor performance in Background music in Tamil movies. He has done only last 15 minutes good in Sivaji and there is lot of repeated bgm in that movie. He let the Azhgiya tamil magan and Sakkarakatti poor in background music.

Withh ARR the singles dont matter.....the whole package is so mind blowing....I wanted to add Vande Mataram....but then the number is the limitation.....or else my list would go on n on n on!!!!
I think Rahman has made so many n many good compositions in Tamil movies, which are not re-tuned/re-used in bollywood (like newyork nagaram.. kandukondein.. ratchagan.. got so many good songs and not the least kilaku chemayile.....)
once these songs are re-used again.....
i guess he could expand his wings of popularity even more!
Can anyone think of the AIRTEL tune..I guess by far that is the most soothing music any music director can create...what say ppl???I dont think we can miss that
Although i dont understand language but still i could not resist listening to song time and again something like sare yai yai involving dance sequence between pooja Batra and hero.amazing. Also song of movie Dil Se. Aie Ajnabi.
