Which songs can we listout in the Outstanding. Rahman in his early days made such albums in a rhythm and style which we never ever expect to have in a indian movies and such rhythm and style now everyone using. For Example take 'Thiruda Thiruda' or u can call it as Chor Chor or Donga Donga. The style and orchestrization and the techno used in this album,other music directors have not able to touch. But for Reiff's sake i can't choose which is best song.

What about En Kanavillaye from Kadhal Desam, and Roja Roja From Kadhalar Dinam,and that Amma Song from New,Chayya Chayya which attarcted andre llyod to work with AR,Pachay nirame from alyapayuthe..
What happened to Bombay. Rediff censored it? Though none of the songs from Bombay claim a spot in top 5, each and every song of the movie were sheer brilliance. Bombay theme standing apart.

i agree... my fav would be 1. bombay theme - makes me cry 2. man mohana - jodha akbar 3. nahin saamne - taal 4. ishq bina - taal 5. maula maula - dilli 6 6. tu bin bataye - rang de basanti 7. vande mataram

He is maestro... it is as difficult to pick one song from the list as it is to pick one hundred from Sachin's record.... I like almost all the songs Rehman composes ... am currently sruck up with Dil ka Rstha from yuuvraj and rehna tu from Delhi-6 those are in my current fav play list..
