Over the year our country has looked for local heros. Shivaji of maharashtra, Shaurabh Ganguly for Bengal. Rajni of South . When it comes to national level we depend on an Italian to rule over country What a Pity.
It is just amazing that 10 crore votes were given thru cell phones for a stupid reality show. I just hope all these people will turn up when India goes for general elections.
Lived round the globe in last few year. One thing i have learned. have a Muslim, White, Japanee, Pakistani, Korean friend BUT NEVER A BENGALI. they are globaly regional people.

It needs certain intellectual standard to have friends with this community. It seems you lack in that. Before it is too late accept that & try to improve. you will be blessed with lots of bengali friends.
Its a shame the winners are not being chosen on the basis of their talents. It was quite clear that both Raja and Amanat were far far better than Aneek. Again its the bloody politics which raises its head and it seems that Reshammia has played a big role in him being chosen as winner. May be if Aneek had not declared as a winner, he may have threatened to withdraw next year. Long live India

i regret u have not listened to his songs. Please remember what jagjit singh told about his voice. All three are good,Aneek most versatile,amanat -best naturaly gifted singer-great voice,Raja -best for AR rahman type sufi songs.Music has (no)all languages, no borders.

I have never heard any competition other than Marathi and Bengali competition. It looks that ZEE is organising these shows to pick the winner since no matter how good singer from other part of country. There will be winner from that part. That HR, he use to talk khaa saraswati maa ki kasam. If he is daring and ask him to be a real man or take any truth speaking test.. all truth will come out.

If Raja is not an original singer so as Aneek. He copies Sonu Nigam all d time. He will not gonna success as long as Sonu is in the industry. When the industry has the original one as Sonu why people will go to the duplicate as Aneek. Film industry don't need another Sonu Nigam.Personally I think Amanat is a versatile singer and far better than Aneek.He will going to be successful one in Bollywood.

It would be unfair to consider the opinion of few muslims as the general opinion the whole muslim community. I am sure there are thousands of muslims who have voted for Aneek too, the same way I being a Hindu, Bong and Indian voted profusely for Amanat for the simple reason of being his fan.

For your information: The Indian Idol, is not from bengal's near by state, he is from bengal and now from kolkata and ofcourse his origin is Nepali....but that's not his address! And did you ever hear Ravi Shankar, Aliakbar Khan, Hemant Kumar, Talat Mahmud, Kishore Kumar etc etc? They are all bengali...this was also for information to do few names! But i'm still proud that they are Hindustani...not becoz they are bengali! Grow and try to open ur mind!

whats sick about it. I wan't national leader to an Indian. I was in Italy when Soniya gandhi was going to be Prime minister. i felt sick to she there celebrations. it was shamefull to to hear that. Felt like under british rule again.
Muslim supports muslim no matter where he is from you know this is true...if not you are kidding yourself. So if we Hindus/sikhs/jains etc also start supporting Muslims, the Muslim support gets doubled. So who is going to support us? its because of this stupidity that Hindus dont have a voice in their own country. Ram Setu is being destroyed? Can you imagine this happening to the Kaaba..forget that..even a make shift mosque anywhere in India? What you are calling 'religious extremism' is your own stupidity which will cause for your downfall. Wake up before its too late. I am not calling for violence but we have to stand up for ourselves.
