POINT NO.1 - From the day this started i had predicted winners would be in order of gharanas based on their popularity in film industry as of today. It has been proved right today by final results.....Reshamayia, Ismail Darbar, Vishal & Shekhar.
POINT NO.2 - To me the winner always will be POONAM, the real melody queen of the show. My heart goes all out for Poonam who was the best voice on this programme but could not make it to the finals.
POINT NO.3 - Why online voters were asked to vote only once grom same ID whereas any number of SMS from same number were eligible. Coz online voters did not bring in any gains but SMS did mean more money in their coffers.
POINT NO.4 - Forget who won just remember this programme was meant to entertain us and it did just that. Dont bring emotions into this just take it as a show which enthralled audience. A show which brought singers onstage who were superb.
POINT NO.5 - Best behaved and level headed Guru award should goto Ismail Darbar.

I agree with you in all but point no:5 should go jointly to Ismail Darbar ji and also Vishal-Shekar.Their behavior was also too good. Also point No: 6 should be Congrats to Aneek and all the participants.Everyone was good and could have become the winner.

what do you mean by political supremacy.They were all good in their style of singing.If raja's rendering of HAJI ALI was excellent so was anik's SANDESE ATE HAI or MAIN AGAR KAHOO(OM SHANTI OM)OR AMANATS HUNGAMA.We had rafi mukesh kishore manna de at the same time.
This in a nutshell describes the position we are in.
Very few people are thinking objectively.
Most do not think about merit or talent.
I however estimate the contest results were true reflection of merit.
The deserving candidate won the contest.
However the comments in rediff post clearly shows where we landed after 60 years of independence. Thanks to our political leaders! Thanks to our democracy!!
Muslims support Muslims. Bengalis support Bengalis. Who is going to support us? This in a nutshell describes the position we are in. Very few people are thinking objectively. I agree...in fact there must be no regionalism. This regionalism is used by politicians and fundamentalists to divide us and exploit us. I am not a bengali but I am glad that aneek won. better than that paki guy. Why doesnt he sing in his own country? are we stopping him? people who say 'music has no barriers' are forgetting that the pakis do not think like this. how many indians have they invited to sing? in fact indian movies, music and tv channels are banned in pakistan

Absolutely true riir. Check any forums today.None of the Pakis have any good word for Aneek or any Indian singers. For them, since Amaanat has not won they feel the show was also "fixed".I use to like Paki singers but after hearing comments I started hating them. Also you are right when u say they have banned our movies bcoz they fear that might be the end of their film industry.So why shud we become "bade-dilwala". Better to have our Indian singers on these show than these ungrateful Pakis.Hope Zee and other channels get the message.

yes thats what i have been saying. Indian citizens have to first right to earn money in india. why give millions of indian money to a paki guy? if he is a good singer, why doesnt he sing in his own country? Can a indian sing in Pakistan and get even 10% of what that paki guy got? lets not be too carried away with being "large-hearted" and think first with our large brain!!!

I there something wrong with you? Ram Sethu is a natural rock formation. Let it remain thus. As for who votes for whom buddy lets say we need to be more objective and honestly Amaanat ahd better range and had an excellent control of the various songs he sang. As for you I think you have no clear headed balance.
Aneek won the contest because he is the best among of them. Ifeel sorry for RAJA. But Im happy that the Pakistani lost. We should not entertain him. Mr. Jagjeet Singh told him what ever but the result says the is the looser. I was expecting that RAJA will be the winer.

no your absolutely right. pakis can sing in their own country. we arent stopping them. when they have banned our music, film and tv channels, I dont see any reason for inviting pakis and making them win contests and stay in india. If pakis believed that 'music has no barriers' our stuff wont be banned there. So if some pakis are good singers, thats cool, but sing in your own country not here.
Frankly I do not have much interest in the music but my wife and younger son were glued to the sa re ga ma challenge from the beginning . I used to see this on and off but later in the end followed my wife and waited here in Singapore in the night to watch this closely held singing competition. All the three singers in the last were great and our best wishes to all the participants and zee tv for this . Capt Praveen Bajaj
Aneek is the best singer and deserve the cap. I am very happy that the Pakistani is the looser. I very sorry for RAJA. He is one of the promissing singer in INDIA. But Aneek is the winner and the pakistani is the big looser. This is the big gift for id.

he aint a pakistani nor hes an indian! if he had either one of these he wudnt have been saying what hes saying! i am pakistani it was great to see the contest!who ever won its music either bengali,rajhasthani or pakistani its the glory of music! Poonam for me was the winner as she was self made brave girl! Amanats father and uncle have already won Z TV ghazal contest some years back! hes from the same city as great Nusrat Fateh ali khan was from(faisalabad fmr lyallpur). Raja Hasan was cool too and he is a raja and i being a rajput and use title of raja made a bond with him! Jagjit and pandit were right in judgement about amanat he was perfect in singing! popular votes u can expect some regional biases thats ok! religion and countries dont matter for me aneeks sandese atee hain was sung better than sonu! jo b hai music won!and yes aneek is winner and from ma heart i congratulate him!

I am an Indian and I like the pakistani's singing. Music doesnt know boundaries. He is one of my favorites.
You must be a Pakistani trying to deceive other Pakistanis that Indians are intolerent.
