After reading so many comments one thing very clear.Music in chained by factors like caste countryand regionalism.What started as a entertainment has been sullied by such ugly factors fhat the very purpose of the programme is lost.whether it was Aneek or Raja or Amanat were the victors,yet after the heat of the moment they will be lost into oblivion like earlier winners,Shreya Ghosal , Sunidhi Chavan could make it big because there was no politics in music then.But today Reshmaiyya's unwarrented arguments with Ashaji,was wearisome.Sometimes he would jump up and come on stage and start singing as if it was he who was contesting.The real winners in order are Bappiji,Vishal-Sakhar,Ismail Durbar and last is Himesh.In future no foreign contestants should be signed in andly the mentors role should be finished with just sending their wards to the stage.Only eminent judges whose judgements will be unquestioned should form the panel.The face of mentors and their gimmicks shoud be kept away from camera.Then only justice would be done to singers and unneeded comments could be avoided

yes...u r right!!!we dont know when this himesh will laugh and we dont know when he will get arrogant...always he used to criticise raja....who sang some of the best gems of songs like :"vandemataram".....i wonder how aneek is the winner and this is all becos of sms...one person can spend some lakhs of sms if he is having enough money...right!!!all this is non sense...I feel the judges should be the final decision makers...not the public!!!what u say!!!
Pakistanis should learn how be equally respectfully and treat equally their fellow Indian [lost brothers], just as Amanat was treated by Indians. He received almost similar [3 crore ] votes from Indian public [votes from Pakistan were not allowed] despite being from another country, when Indian singers like Lata were not allowed to go to Pakistan to sing.
At last Aneek Dhar won. That%u2019s great. Both Aneek and Raja were the best of the lot and both are winners; only Aneek won by a slim margin. This 12th class student is truly great, if you hear his singing.

Indian {part of Hindu culture} are non-partisan, unlike in Pakistan and that has benefited the society from showing the true honest route in every sphere, whether democracy, bollywood, music, education, culture, custom..etc. We improved in all of these. Even in foreign land India culture and music bind all Indian and south Asians with bollywood music. US University campuses has students from all the countries but in addition to US music, its the bollywood music that rocks in evey university. Thats what love and true honesty is all about. You don't show preference based on religion or language spoken or country but the best always gets the chance. Its the true Hindu value of Indians that differs from all and Pakistanis should learn to apply that in their lives, since genetically and historically they are the same as Indians and NOT Arabians [something they have been copying]. Arabians don't respect anybody other than themselves and Europeans.
That will lead Pakistan to true democracy for a long time. History tells us that all partisan country [China, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya...etc] never had complete freedom and democracy. Some food for thought!

Well just to counter your argument - URDU was invented in INDIA. Does any Urdu stuff exist in Middle East? NO. So ultimately whose influence is Urdu-Sanskrit, whether you'd like to accept it or not. Prior to Islamic Invasion of Afghanistan, they were all Buddhist. So all Khans and Pathans during Silk-Route time were all Buddhists and flourishing. So do not downgrade the mother Sanskrit. Without Indian Culture, no Muslims or Urdu stuffs would have ever evolved. Spain wiped out all Islamic symbols after the Christians took over Spain from Muslim invaders and replaced all mosques with Churches.

I agree with you and I hope the Indian Channels should not invite I'nal contestants because I think India still lack in democracy because they are so fanatic with their own hindus as Deepa Mehta was not allowed to picturize Water that speaks for volumes abt the Indian democracy.
