Flop? This was a huge marketing success for ZEE. 10 crore SMSes. Many came from Middle East countries voting for their Muslim candidate. Again by having 3 finalists, Zee made more money if only 2 were there.

You people never improve, I dont know why you have to look on the regional, There many good singers all over india and dont ever think that only good singers will come from your place. Just step out from your region and look as whole india. I dont belive on sms or phone calls. The truth is Aneek is number 3.

Wow! thats a list of all IIT toppers in Bollywood it seems. Even I never knew that. Good job man.

But whats the benefit; just the bragging right? We don't benefit in any way. They don't share their wealth or women. So whats the big story. Yes being from same culture matters since that protects us in the long run... so love all Indians.

Look! Its great to win singing competition at national level. No doubt Bengalis are good singers but how a community fares is fairly judged by taking into account many factors. Most important is rearing up a newer generation. You can't have a great future without them but Courtesy Jyoti Basu & Mamata Banerjee, who are basically pedigreeless refugees from East Pakistan have taken up the mission of destroying the community's future. We've still a long way to go.There is no point in being overjoyed.

by rajnish suwalka on Oct 14, 2007 10:04 AM  | Hide replies

All three are best in sa re ga ma but during last 3-4 episode the Himesh was totally supporting Aneek.Himsh should be impartial for all three. Whenever Annek came to sing on stage Himesh always make a back ground for the Aneek and he tried to put a female factor for Aneek. The attitude of Bappi ji, Vishal Shekher Ji and Ismile darbar ji was very decent. They never promote any single singer.

Singers and Music directors now-a-days has the same career as a Software Professional in USA. Always insecure, someone will take his job. That does not mean he lacks something but in addition to mastering the art, who is closest to the bosses.

Hence with a short life span, they need to produce their best quickly and invest their money in some mutual fund for future or business security. Same story for all professionals in USA. Its a small worlds because of internet. Now most of music gets pirated and most get it free over internet download-how much do the original singers make?

Pakistan should learn to evolve in line with thein Hindu Ancestors.
by sunny chakraborti on Oct 14, 2007 09:41 AM

Indian {part of Hindu culture} are non-partisan, unlike in Pakistan and that has benefited the society from showing the true honest route in every sphere, whether democracy, bollywood, music, education, culture, custom..etc. We improved in all of these. Even in foreign land India culture and music bind all Indian and south Asians with bollywood music. US University campuses has students from all the countries but in addition to US music, its the bollywood music that rocks in evey university. Thats what love and true honesty is all about. You don't show preference based on religion or language spoken or country but the best always gets the chance. Its the true Hindu value of Indians that differs from all and Pakistanis should learn to apply that in their lives, since genetically and historically they are the same as Indians and NOT Arabians [something they have been copying]. Arabians don't respect anybody other than themselves and Europeans.

That will lead Pakistan to true democracy for a long time. History tells us that all partisan country [China, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya...etc] never had complete freedom and democracy. Some food for thought!

All 3 are very good singers and they have their own genre. So, it really doesn't matter who wins the competition. If you are really good, you'll survive in the industry.
