Aneek was all hype (HR hype: young lover, inoncent heart, chhota bhai etc etc).. Raja and Amanat were real singers.. Aneek won only becoz of Bengal factor.. As Prashant and Debojeet won..

Congrat's Aneek, & I am thankfull 2 Zee media 4 not crushing the true talent in the name of Confidence Building Measure(CBM). 2 b frank, I was expecting Amanat Ali since V Indians have a nasty habit 2 show the world V r true sporty by making the Pakistani's win & giving the true talent a secondary honour but for the first time, I am proud that talent never went unnoticed. Last but not the least, My sincere thanks 2 all Indians & Zee group for showcasing true spirit & my best wishes 2 the runner ups Hasan Raja & Amanat Ali. Hope Amanat never slug it out saying He was screwed bcoz he came 4 pakistan

LOL u was expecting?i had heard pregnancy has its effects but tum anain hadd he kardi! it was a contest and people judged! may be the results had been different of judges had put the results! dharam region dont count! amanats fathera nd uncle have won ZTV classical award some years back that had indians contestants! and in contest nothin is consolation prize! amanat aneek raja all treid their best to win peoples heart and aneek toped it! music won and aneek is ultimate winner but before puting profound statements think all 3 pakistani singers were in trishanku after the 15 august performance even when they didnt use pakistans name in patriotic songs!and they ahd to cancel that trishanku! dont thin that of miandad hit the sixer of sharma,that sharma gave him full toss on purpose and pak lost on bowl out to india as a favor or misbah looped a catch just to show CBM!!! contest is contest its blood and sweat of participants and people like those who fight with all their might!
Hey when the story is all about SMS.....these talent hunts should not be allowed to term "Indian Idol" etc...Its basically marketing and pure money making..thats how most of the these guys get lost in the crowd.. Any way good luck to winners.

I agree. Same happens in USA during "American Idol"... although there are some Black vs White and some divided votes, but ultimately the honest folks always voted for the best of the lot.

Hey Monika, did u vote for poonam? i dnt think so, but i did for poonam, coz she is a very good singer....MUSSARAT....do u remember him? no one can touch him even in terms of SUFY singing....AMANAT got more attention when he sang the best in GAZAL round....he is the best....RAJA is very good in high range...but ANEEK is more versatile, else S from VS whould have told him that he shud be directly in the studio...i cant help if u hate bengalis.

Plz maku ur mouth shut up. U seems mad bcz Aneek wins. Aneek is a bengali yes and I too. I am from North-East(7 states). So 7 states also vote for Aneek. When you didn't have any knowledge of music and the person whom you are talking about then don't ever make any judgement. You seems uneducated person.
Aneek's success is mainly due to his classical background. Other two are also very very good singers.In fact we have many talented singers in East(including N.E.), South, North and Western parts of our country.

Congrats Zee for what you have done. Useless and idle people criticise the enterprising. So dont worry. It was professional management all the ways. Thanks.
Zee is very stingy compared to Indian Idol who give out 1 crore to the winner. Zee gives only 50 lakhs. Zee made more than 50 crores from SMS only in the finals (10 crore votes @ 6 rupees each). Also the commercial breaks in 4 hour program were too many. Zee TV should hand out more money to contestants-not only the first winner but also something to Top 5 or Top 10.

but compare the quality of show with Indian Idol which is pure trash , and compare botht the winners there is a huge differencee. Zee has been constantly giving talent to the industry but all sony winners are making not that big. I agree the difference is in prize money but sony ties the winner in a cotract and they cant sing for others where as Zee has more flexibility..Zee wins over the thrash Indian Idol.. the judges are more constructive and pratical.
Some have commented on caste creed etc .I totally agree it was for Debojit or Prasant .But here all three were gems and all three were versatile singers .This is the first time ,probably ,music lovers went above the regionalism

I would beg to differ with you on this issue as Debojit (I don't know about Prashant's case) was certainly not a case of any kind of regional bias. The very criterion for selecting a winner was (and still is) the maximum no. of votes and that has been consistent throughout everytime and for everybody. Because once a top 10/12 candidates are short-listed for the voting process it is understood that they are the cream of the lot that had competed for the show and anyone of them is a deserving candidate for winning the cup/prize; because it is only the jury consisting of eminent singers and musics directors (obviously of today's) who have short - listed them. Secondly, for Debojit if the show had never given out the break-up(which is against the law of voting) no one would have ever known whether Debojit won the contest only on the votes recieved from the east or from all across the country. Unlike in the present show the direction of the inflow of the votes were concealed from the viewers, it was not the case during the competition in which Debojit was a part of. Thirdly, choosing a singer on the basis of liking the voice is not same as saying 2 2=4 as people may vary in the way of liking the voices as it depends on the ear the voice falls upon. Forthly, I would like to mention one other very important aspect: Debojit belonged to Assam while as far as I remember his othe competitor, I guess was Vinit belonged to Uttar Pradesh. Tanoy he isnt a pakistani or isi agent! i am a pakistani and an agent! my father was in 1971 war in navy! and he himself had told me the injustice of bengalis in bangladesh on economic grounds led to all division!and part played by military in alienating people!killing own people! and india capitalised on it!it was a failure of paks policy! there wasnt any religious issue!
