One article and so much of vitriol is being spewed by the writer( of this article ) as also so many responders. Leave amitabh alone. None of us would like if so much rubbish is written by all and sundry about us and our family life. Even if he is a public figure, that does not give anyone a license to simply abuse him and write non stop nonsense about him.. Rediff too should first check the responses before publishing them. Unless even rediff is interested only in number of visits to its sites ( and therefore encourage such free for all; otherwise it would not have published this article in the first place ). Even on the farmer issue, he is not wrong. To get a land in maharashtra he has to be a farmer ; and a lot many people get such certificates out of other states. A lot of doctors in Mumbai are registered as farmers to buy farm land in mumbai-pune belt. It is plain jealousy that is spewing out. How many people question those that grab land illegally ? What about land sharks? Just because he is rich and popular , everyone is taking potshots at him ( out of jealousy). I feel that he shall sail thru this also.. I wish him good luck.. If he is found wrong by court, he will anyway be punished.. but then I or anyone else for that matter does not have a right to humiliate him or his family or his daughterinlaw.. Have some sanity and decency.. If we encourage wayward thoughts, one day the same waywardness would consume us.. Stop the muck..

I never said it is OK..If you read carefully I have said that he will get punished if he is found guilty. But would you like if your son or daughter in law is abused for some fault of yours ? And would you like if you are abused by those to whom you have done no wrong ?
This is just the beginning of the end...We all know what happened with Aishwaryas previous boyfriends...Salman & Vivek...they have not yet recovered from it, lets see what happens with Bachchans. Soon after the marriage, Mulayam singh lost the election, Amar Singh got a heart attack and Amitabh is the news for illegal land acquisition. LOL...lets wait and watch the tamasha...

Shame on u AB, i used to see u as a clean citizen, but......Also to promote ur son, u just see the other actors down. Jusy remember Mr. bachchan, Ur daughter in law will crash ur empire..... There are many examples he use friendship or relations only for making wealth or achieving position for him and his family members.
Mulayam Singh : Helped him to acquire lands Amar Singh : Helped Jaya Bachchan to become MP Rajiv Gandhi : Helped him to become Congress MP, where BigB took benefit of sympathy, generated by Indira Gandhi murder.
Big B shud hang is head in shame for having acquired land claiming he was a farmer... i am a great fan of his acting skills ...but offlate i am losing respect for him coz he is indirectly taunting others and cleverly manipulating the media to favour his good-for nothing son...whatever happened to the actor whom the classes and masses idolisedand adored....Saif, SRK and Hrithik are perfectly justified in their stand..no use blaming them or calling them names....Big B totally deserves to be at the receiving end...
The whole situation can aptly be described in one snskrit shloka "Vinash Kaale Viparit Buddhi". I am tempted to liken AB to KARNA of Mahabharat.A modern day KARNA in the bad company of Mulla Yadav,Amar Singh et al.
Karan Johar grow up man. Shahurukh Khan is a spent force, his movies are flops now. SRK has not given a single bonafide hit since main hoon na (2004). What is Saif Ali Khan - this fatso thinks he is a stud , his lungs gave up poor guy
Karan think like Sanjay Dutt - Deadly dutt sticks to his gun and continues to be the superstar without the backing of any Chopra or Johar. Because Sanjay Dutt is Sanjay Dutt- So Shootout at Lokhandwala is a Big hit - Sanju has got good friends like Sanjay Gupta and others who are loyal to him - And we knw Sanju is also friends with the Bachhans.

Can U name one single hit movie of Amitabh in last 5 years where he was the only one in lead role???? bravo he will break Mithun's record of maximum flops. He is just getting films because of his past performance which I must confess were good. How about hi stupid son. Can you imagin he being in film industry without being bachan??? never mr AB is using hi name to promote his hopless son.
