Arey bhaiiya ye toh niri bhed chaal hai.

Do gut bana liye hain Bachchan aur khan chalchitra nagri ne. Bas tamasha dehey jao kunki kiske paas itna samay hai ki in nautanki waalon ki uper neechey dekhney mein ya inki kamai ginaney mein barbaad karey. Bhedein hain... ek gai toh doosri aa jaigi ;)

Amitabh is a superstar but a very immature human being. He still is greedy for fame and money. He is not understanding that all good things has to come to an end one day. Any man of intelligence will refuse to make Amitabh as his icon.

I am talking about those people who understands the subtle idea that everybody follows filmstars, cricketer and ultimately what do these followers get just a illusory satisfaction. They are following people like Amitabh to forget their own mental worry. Its worse than drinking alcohol

R K
Karan Johar
by R K on Jun 04, 2007 09:19 PM  | Hide replies

If this report is to be believed, film stars are waning away from Karan Johar himself... it is his film that they are refusing after all. Saif is refusing because of Karan and not because of Amitabh. And who is Karan alone to judge the film industries nerves. Is he the Godfather or what?

He is claiming to be close to Bachchans and can't take open panga with him.. hence he is supporting his buddy Shah rukh by indirectly leaking such rumors...
That's my conspiracy theory. Rest, time will tell. Personally I don't think much of Abhishek and Aishwarya myself.

Amitabh's disgraceful days began with Aishwarya's marriage
by Awaara Uncle on Jun 04, 2007 09:14 PM  | Hide replies

Big B's humiliation has only begun with Aishwarya's marriage to Abhishek. Now both Sonia Gandhi who controls Maharashtra government and Mayawati who controls UP government are going to pursue Amitabh's forgery through which he became a FAKE farmer. Everybody knows how he is blackmailing directors to get his useless son Abhishek to act with him as a package deal. Both Sonia and Mayawati need each other and both hate Bachchans. The fun is only about to begin. Expect income tax authorities to act next against Aishwarya as well as Bachchans.

Well he also has shown 18 century mindset of performing primitaive rituals like marrying Ashwairya Rai to a "Pipal" tree first at the Mata Vindhyavasini Temple, reason being given was she being a Mangalik.

So the Bachhans very well believe in the Mangalik theory and claim to have taken due cognisence too..!!!

Amitabh- Land Forgery
Abhishek- Tax evasion (along with his father)
Sachin- Tax evasion (ferari and income tax)

The bottomline is that these people are selfish and very very greedy can stoop to any level for money, its surprising that insipite of making tons of money they still stoop to low levels to acquire more

Even at 65 Bachchan can turn the crowd with a cheeni kum
by krishnendu mukherjee on Jun 04, 2007 09:04 PM  | Hide replies

Well the report is very much biased and if i am not wrong very much one sided. The report states Amitabhs downfall, where as, if box office reports are concerned he is reigning high with Cheeni kum and shootout of lokhandwala with so called new or flop directors. So like the SRK Amitabh dont really depends on the johars and chopras for a hit. Secondly Amitabh has praised his Abhishek for Guru. and whats wrong in that. Abhishek was excellent and all media praised him too. what if the same from his father. ANd if anybody is upset by that, then certainly they are not professional and freinds of the Bachchans. In Dhoom 2 the director of the movie wrote after its release that Abhishek is finished and this kind of comments are dengerous and irresponsible and so if Amitabh defends his son then whta is wrong in that. Rediff stated Hritikh as the highest tax payer which amitabh challenged claiming his contribution to be the most. He has guts to shout for the right no body contradicted that, so where is he wrong. I think This kind of baseless reports will not bother Amitabh or Bachchans. this is a kind of forcefully written baised display or wrong facts may be please certain section or handfull of Film industry people. The reporter should be given awards for his imagination. But the bottom line is that even at 65 years AMitabh can turn crowds and critcs with a cheeni kum or shoot out. anybody in hindi film industry can do it?

sure! the report is biased! what a joke!

As if you can tell that all these statements are a lie! First of all Lokhandwala is not Big B movie nor Abhi movie...what a narrow sense of pride...Cheeni kum is strictly ok...good performance...but that doe not make Big B a good person...He is a big diplomat..does not show his REAL side in interviews till recently when he started to change his image by such staements in recent years...BIG POlitician..Jaya's idol in politics:MUlayam singh!!! What a crap!!

Come on grow up. He is diplomatic and if u need to go up in ur career and stay there for long u need to be diplomatic. which famous star is not diplomatic. grow up baby.

Amithab gone overboard
by saunak pandya on Jun 04, 2007 09:02 PM  | Hide replies

I think the problem is that Amithab is gone overboard to promote his flop son to made him star and that's the time he lost respect from everyone. He is indeed a great actor, no doubt about it, but he is in this situation coz of his pathetic son abhishek.

well Abhishek is not a flop star. guru, yuva are examples of his imporved acting, and Dhoom, bunty bunbli are examples of his box office success. It is the public who makes a star. Amitabh is not that powerful i guess

media against BigB
by hypermemory on Jun 04, 2007 09:02 PM

Amitabh and media don't get well along. Well everytime its the media who always try to defame the mighty Bachchan. It were the journalists who created nuisance at AbhiAsh wedding & when the security guards tried to stop them, media persons startes shouting anti-Amitabh slogans. But still the humble Bachchan appologized for the act which he didn't do. Shame to Indian media.

Who are we talking about?
by Ramesh Kapoor on Jun 04, 2007 08:57 PM  | Hide replies

The article is about adoration of Amitabh, but we have ended up talking about Karan Johar, Abhishek, and the Khans. All this is a result of invitations to a private affair. I can ampathise with the Bachachans as to the number one can invite and accommodate to marital function. The only omission so far is that no one has talked about the list of invitees at Bachchan's daughter's wedding some years ago. The groom is a grandson of the late Raj Kapoor. The problem seems that it is more a call of Amitabh's association with Amar Singh of Samajwadi Party, then his sour relationship with the Gandhi family. Any association and or relationship is an individual's right, and is a private affair, however, public it may seem. I am not defending the Bachachans, and nor do I believe that his being isolated by the Khans would make a dent in Amitabh's stature. Enough damage to Shah Rukh Khan vs Amitabh Bhachachan started with KBC, and where the show stands today is not being debated. Saif and Salmaan are actors in their own right and their actions and non-actions are well written about. As for Karan Johar, he is no novice in the field of film production, when the media would like us to feel otherwise.

Agreed but amitabh was always humble and down to earth. Not anymore he is acting like vijay Mallya.High profile Media blitzkreig, its nice that Hrithik,Salman,Shahrukh and the likes did not attack him in anyway. How can he attack hrithik when he did not act irresponsible in anyway.Shah rukh khan has achieved far better than Abhishek bachan. As far as father son bahu gang is acting as the emporor of india,Nobody is going to like them at the personal level.I am sure mani rathnam would not have cast abhishek if all this over hype were to happen.
