Shankar on Jan 29, 2007 09:20 AM I think the bigger favour Ms. Shilpa Shetty did this country - more than emerging the winner for whatever reasons - is to focus on something like racism. We keep seeing this happening every now and then, some one commenting, some one teasing, some one hurting. And it was gratifying to see that those on the show who seemed to have been 'racist' not only denied being so but were horrified too on seeing the footages or whatever. And also that, in general, a huge majority of Britons were equally opposed to racism and held all those who were guilty of racism in contempt. Now, that's a huge positive. Finally, we must compliment Shilpa Shetty for her dignified behaviour and soothing remarks, in the aftermath, that shows India in its truly Gandhian outlook. M. It's awful to learn that they are using indian again like they did during colonial time to manifest there clandestive motive.
