Hey lets not compare, cause we are not supposed to compare two individuals, SRK has his own style and has lived upto the expectations of millions of his fans..... once a path is walked people expect the others to walk on the same path.... why not create one on your own... let SRK crate his own path and walk KBC3 on his own....comparisions are unfavourable...ITS NOT FAIR TO COMPARE......

If someone walk on path created by others then comaparsion is a natural things, If some one want to create a new path just like Jyoti are saying that SRK is creating by KBC3, then why he choose kbc which allready a created path by AB. SRK is supose to create a new path by diging good pathe created by AB its not favour. He should respect the AB pathe an try to create his own in style by other graceful manner.

I AM THOROUGHLY DISSAPPOINTED WITH THE INAGURAL EPISODE OF KBC.I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL IT A UTTER FLOP.THE RAP SONG IS OUTRIGHTLY BAD AND SO ARE SRK'S EXPRESSIONS AND MANNERISMS.STAR TV WILL REGRET ITS DECISION SOON.
Hi SRK was using urdu / muslims religion words in the show that to while referring to Hindu Mythology. Also he does not have the knowledge of Hindu Mythology while asking the question and giving a brief info on the Question asked. Its just like a Q & A i the school without any Knowledge transfer to the viewers.
Let me clarify first, BigB is a Legend & SRK is human being! If BigB is not doing the show then some one has to do it and there could not be better choice than SRK, after all he is not a superstart Just Like That! There is huge section of people who love SRK for his charishma and energy. He did well in opening episode. As voice is biggest gap between BigB and SRK, SRK should not copy BigB style of dialog delivery. He's got his own style and he should just stay within. He also lacks acting skills in scaring contestants out of their seats. BigB was just too good at that. But he did good job with his witty and humorous dialogs. He also showed ot of energy which is his stong point as opposed to clamness of BigB. He may not be able to overshadow BiB but you can't find any one better than him!

No my friend, Its bad start by KBC. The srk looks to short for the chair and does not have the seating manners and the costume was not upto the mark at all. Overall a bad show. BigB is the Ultimte, there can't be replacement to SUN OK.
I think, though Shahrukh was ok in the first episode of the new KBC but perhaps he was overdoing certain things. Maybe trying to prove a point or two. But, for me Mr. Bachhan is better as he brought grace to the show which was sadly missing in the first episode.

I agree Pranjal! SRK was trying a bit too hard. His jokes / kiddish behaviour may backfire someday - a quiz show & a family show requires grace & poise that Bachchan showed. Bachchan was certainly much much better.
It%u2019s really foolish and absurd to compare Amitabh and shahrukh. We are here to write reviews on Shahrukh's performance, not about comparisons. As far as anchoring is concerned, he proved himself by his stunning art. Even the people, who decry Mr. Khan, will believe this, unless they have a pre-determined negative opinion about him. People should make opinions based on current performance not on past. Though not being a strong supporter of Shahrukh, agree to say, that he is handling the pressure of expectation successfully. I hope, he will continue to do so in future also.
No I am not saying this because of Amitabh - Shahrukh rivalry, but Shahrukh lacks the charisma, enthusiasm and pedigree of Big B. From the show it was looking that he was desperate to match Big B and the result was that he was overdoing the things.He could have done better if he has taken this thing as any other normal assignment.
the one on the hot seat isn't the contestant. it's SRK and it shows. he is nervous, tense and speaks too rapidly. the tension of being compared to BIg B is telling and he is the one who needs the massages he gallantly offers to the contestants. SRK!! cool it. V luv U. don't try so hard. just try having fun.
