The settings were perfect, but SRK is no match over AB , his street smart antiques are actually making this show a cheap version of Amitabh's KBC .SRK is not natural and is merely acting , all his actions are clearly preplanned and not natural as in case fo AB
People always compare, its happening since the civilization begins, its human nature. I think lets stop comparing SRK with Big B and simply judge SRK on his performance. I was IMPRESSED by his role as a host. Someyimes I found his smile plastic but he did a good job overall. The one liners in his speech were good and I think he will improve as he goes on with KBC this season.

In my opinion....We should not compare Big B and SRK...as both are De Best and excellent at their work.
I was turning all over my sofa when I was watching shahrukhkhan trying so very hard to impress the viewers. Amitabh had style, panache, and elegance which he made watching KBC a mature show for both the young and the old. But it does not seem that way with Mr.Khan trying to have it his way. I hope with this he does not fall fall on his flat backside.
EAST OR WEST SHAHRUKH IS THE BEST. WE R WITH YOU SRK KEEP IT UP. YR KBC SHOW WAS FANTASTIC. ON THE FIRST SHOW YOU HAD WON OUR HEARTS. WE R WAITING EAGERLY FOR COMING SHOWS OF KBC.

Hey Guys stop it !! Just stop criticizing SRK and of course no need to compare him with the Big "B" for God sakes look at the age difference and the number of movies Big has in his kitty!! All I want to say is that SRK tried his level best to run this show and he was damn good at it. Why don't you guys try to stand on a stage with the whole world as an audiance and you will understand what he must be going through. Personally he was very down to earth, tried to make the show humourous (which Big B could not have done) and I loved the was he wanted the participant to say "I want to give you a hug" instead of saying "I want to quit the show". So please stop comparing him with Big B and just enjoy the King Khan after all he is the next Big "K" !!!

Shahrukh is geting paid for what he is doing and as a professional he should perform as per the expectations of the audience. Its a quiz show and it should be projected like that only, no need for melodramas like...'I want to give you a hug' etc. And as for us standing on the stage, let Shahrukh develop comp programmes and we will stand on the stage.
SRK is the KING OF BOLLYWOOD, why we have to compare with Amitab bachan, Shahrukh done his job in his own style, this is a first episode, next show he will show his talent, he is simply superb in first episode. SHAH RUKH you are the best.
