AMITABH BACHCHAN CAN NEVER BE REPLACED BY ANYBODY, LEAST OF ALL SHAHRUKH KHAN.
SHARUKH LOOKED VERY ARROGANT WHEREAS AB LOOKED VERY CLASSY AND MODEST. IT IS EASY TO RELATE TO AB AS HE SEEMS TO BE ONE OF US. BUT WE CAN NEVER EVER THINK OF BEING AT HOME WITH SHAHRUKH.
SIDDHARTH BASU AND STAR PLUS SHOULD DROP HIM FROM THE SHOW IMMEDIATELY.

Dont YOU look a bit arrogant now. THat is shahrukhs own style.. His wit and good humour are part of the package. Shahrukh was fun and humourous while big B wasnt. Look at the bigger picture. In terms of entertainment, shahrukh beat... sorry whipped the Big B!!!

i agree with Shyamalee. I dont understad why this guy is praising SRK? SRK is horrible when compared with AB.
No comparison can be justified between them. Where is AB and where is SRK. Both of them have their own style. In any case personally I feel, with out any prejudice to SRK, AB was more effective and presentable and we enjoyed the program like anything. I just happended to see the KBC yesterday presented by SRK. SRK has still go farther to catch up AB
SRK has his own inimitable style. If you people take that to be his pride and arrogance... fine... but its his quick wit and intelligence that has won him millions of hearts around the world. Shahrukh rocked. His humour was impressive... If you think the shuddh hindi stuff was an insult to Big B, you are WRONG. He just tried to tell the viewers that pure and shuddh hindi cannot be understood by the entire nation, and when I say that I mean the states in which hindi is NOT spoken. Shahrukh, may I tell you is extremely humble and might be at times, a little outspoken. KBC Rocks... and yes its definitely a notch above Big B's show

If its quick wit.... then we must define quick wit. He was plain and simple nervous !!!
Please donot compare Shahrukh and Amitabh. Both have their own style of presentation. While Amitabh is more sombre because of his age and personality, Shahrukh was expected to be more bubbly and enthusistic which he proved correct in his first appearance. I have liked Amitabh for his ready wit and his approach towards the participants, many of them were nervous to be infront of the icon. He made them feel comfortable and showed respect towards their family members. He became popular because of that. Shahrukh, on the other hand would be like a 'family member' often calling them by their nicknames and thus become our next 'box' neighbour for 3 days a week.

Certainly i will never watch this programme. In fact, i didn't watch the complete prog yesterday as SRK was too boaring.
SRK can not take place of AB. He falls no where near AB.

SRK was good on his first show as host and he will surley lighten up the show but comparing him with Big B is base less Bcoz amitji's experience is SRK'S Age now it is a need less debate on who is the best.
SRK made a complete fool of himself. From standing posture to rubbing his hands at the times of giving answers to Fastest Fingers first, he simply copied AB. Did not do anything original, if at all he did (like hugging the participant), he only made a clown of himself.
That magnifying persona of AB, that calmness he instils within the participants, the comfort he brings up, the aura he creates, are all unparalleled. Even copying it is not possible by SRK, forget redoing it. SRK, beware, the seat could be very hot for the money you have got.
All the news channel polls say that BIG B is 70% better and SRK is 30 % better except NDTV which reports reverse and after asking one of my friends who works in NDTV it is found that NDTV is the media partner of KBC because both owner belongs to bengali. So learn how to manipulate from Mr Basu and Pronoy Roy

Nice point you have raised Krissh. They both are icons but I feel comparing Shahrukh with Amitabh is not ok. Shahrukh is yet to achieve a lot to come anywhere near Amitabh. Can you imagine a 60 shahrukh giving a run for their money to some 30 actors?
