I feel Shahrukh is trying too hard!He should be graceful enough&accept the challenge but not try too much to overshadow Amitabh.Amitabh is a natural born showman with a lot of sophistication,poise&aura which is umnatched!Sorry Sharukh the show is only watchable also Amitabh is humble which Sharukh is absolutely NOT!

Sir I watched KBC FOUND THAT SHAHRUKH, TO OUT DO AB WAS OVER ACTING. HE WAS CLEARLY VERY NERVOUS. HE WAS ALSO TRYING TO COPY AB IN THE USE OF HANDS . WE WERE NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED BY KHAN'S PERFORMANCE.

He has an aura which brings every body together. While Mr. Bacchan is an epiotme in himself, we should also not forget that when AB started anchoring the show, it was the first time the show was being aired and that had created the hype rather than Mr. Bacchan's charishma.
Mr. Bachhan is an actor that everybody respects and even Sharuk accpets that.
Read views from people saying they should not be compared.. Why not?? Its a job which both have attempted to perform. And performance has to be measured. SRK's performance is certainly not a match for big B's natural style. He can put in as much energy and over do it as he wants but he cannot come close to the personality, aura and charm of AB who was only calm and natural on the show... I miss AB now, won't be too inclined to watch the show in future...

well guess After AB he was the obvious one ...and he handled it pretty well...but lets see how it goes after probably 10-15 stores...though he has definately brought freshness in the whole show.
Why should one compare Amithabh Bachan? They are different persons with different personalities and different styles. Acoording to me they do their Job in a very good manner. A rose is a rose and a dahlia is a dahlia. There is no point in comparing them. One can say that I prefer Dahlia than Rose, or the other way. But to say that, "rose is better than dahlia" or "dahlia is better than rose", is a wrong approach. Both are good, both are beautiful, both are perfect. Let%uFFFDs simply enjoy them. Biju Thomas

We are comparing 'cos the 'dahlia' is the one who's tryin to be "Rose' or even better...and since we are the ones who make all the $$ for the show by watchin it..we have every right to debate whether "dahlia" is "Rose" enough..
Well in the first show srk was not at all confident and over-performed at several instance, but this is not a movie but a tv show and only time can prove how much worth srk has. remember bachchan continued for years. it is not easy for srk to hold the charm, as this is not 3 hours and there is no chopra and johar for him.

dont forget for AB's success there were many like praksh mehra and manmohan desai. Dont forget his time of late 80s and early 90s when he was doing overacting in shanshah , jadugar type of movies. I am like equaly bothe the actors but please stopr criticizing SRK unnecessarily and making AB as incomparable.

Sorry Rashmi, We have every right to criticise SRK.Since he is continuing where AB left, comparison is inevitable.SRK has no class which AB had.Dance show at the beginning was cheap. Also, SRK is no novice. so no excuse. --Deepak Deshpande

sorry Rashmi, we have every right to criticise SRK. He has no class that AB had.Since SRK is continuing the show that AB did, there is bound to be comparison.Also SRK is no novice.Accept the truth. Public has rejected SRK's flop KBC. --Deepak Deshpande
Disappointing first show! He was overdoing it. Trying to ape AB in some ways, unnecessary jokes and trying to be funny all the time. It became boring after a point. He should try to be himself & be original if he wishes to succeed!!!
Certainly its Big B. I am a fan of SRK too, but I sincerely feel Mr. Bachchan did a gr8 job hosting the show. The man has charisma. He commands respect. Though Shah Rukh sounded friendly, it looked fake. He was forcing himself to do it. In the process to impress ppl with his charm he seems to overdo & ruin things. He was mocking ppl's name. If the Star Plus ppl are reading this, then PHULLEEEZZZ bring back Mr.Amitabh Bachchan.
