Amitabh Bachchan brought a class to the KBC. SRK is the younger generation's icon. But he can never match up to Amitabh's towering personality, humility and throaty voice and a perfect diction.
I do not understand one thing, why we people compare Amitabh Bachan and SRK, what SRK is doing is showing the generation what management is, what promotion is and what success is? nobody has gone beyond how SRK IS DOING ON THE SHOW or comaring rather, but why more sponsorship mullah then when amitabh was hosting, why this genuine interest, and why KBC 3 HAS ALREADY BEEN MORE WATCHED AND TAKED ABOUT SHOW ALREADY?
He is pure inteligence with charishma beyond comparison to anybody and secondly business acummen praise worthy then any other star or mega star at present.
I am not is fan but a true follower of his intelligence and converting challenges into success.
If he is getting more piad then Mr Bachhan and more sponsorship mullahs for STAR TV AND KBC MANAGEMENT THEN Mr Bachhan did and he has generated more business whenever he has taken Mr Bachhans role then where is the question of him proving to anybody?
We always judge a person by success, revenue figures show that all over the world DON did more business then previous DON, so if that is true then where is the question that he was not recieved well in DON AVTAR.
SRK IS REALLY A CHAPTER IN UNIVERSAL MANAGEMENT STUDIES TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS FROM CHALLENGE.
I have been a SRK Fan since the time I first saw him in Fauji. I was 14 then. I have loved him ever since and my admiration for him as an actor and respect for him as a person has just grown over time. I live in the USA presently and when the 1st SRK KBC was played, I was at work and hence got to see that episode much later in the evening. I was anxious to see SRK in his new role as a host. I read great reviews about the 1st show on the internet and my excitement just grew.
But when I actually saw the episode after going back home, in the evening, I wasn%u2019t thrilled. Among all the actors, I have always loved only Shahrukh and thus I feel its my responsibility to give him my honest opinion.
So here, I go Shahrukh. I think in the first episode, you were trying very hard to please the people watching the show and I didn%u2019t think it was an honest effort from you but seemed more like a deliberate one. I know that as the show proceeds you will become more and more comfortable. I just want to say Shahrukh that people like me, like you just the way you are. You don%u2019t have to go any step further. Of course, it%u2019s always nice to be nice to people but as long as it s coming within you. I have loved you and your work since many years and will love it in the years to come. And I am sure there are many people like me. So just be yourself. You are perfect. You are a good human being. Be natural and people will definitely love you. God Bless YOU.
There are all kinds of opinions on SRK and the only King(BigB).... but when a 4 year old kid(my son) walks out after watching 20-30 minutes of KBC that should tell a lot, it did to me atleast -- my son has watched every KBC episode of Mr Bachchan from TV and video tapes. I'm truely sad about KBC's future, b'coz it was one show that was truely world class(albeit a inspired/copied one), it'll probably endup like some of the other works of SRK with Karan Johar and Farah Khan sitting in the hot seat and giggling and trying to tell us how colorful thier life with SRK is....
If one has to compare this version of KBC, it should not be with its predecessor but rather with the one that Govinda used to anchor.

While AB was all class and mesmerizing SRK has to go hyper to create or fake it. SRK sounds little snobish or sarcastic.
Shahrukh tried his best in creating that magic but every one over here is not a magician.....it is easy to hold the magic wand but it is very difficult to churn out magical things.....shahrukh seemed to be copying all that came out of amitabh naturally.....his dress, the language(somewhat pure hindi)his accent,even the style of standing and clutching and rubbing of hands was all that indicated that he was just imitating the legend.....one can create the terminology but one is always not successful in creating history.....!

If it was your kid walking out of the first 20 minutes, in my house it was my dad and mom who switche the channel saying "why is he trying to copy AB..eg rubbing his own hands and trying to raise his tone like AB"..one thing for sure "I WILL NEVER TUNE ON KBC"..such low class and bogus stuff
Its a nice change , i wont differentiate between Mr.Amitabh Bachhan ji , Sir Shahrukh bcoz they both hav ther own ways . But i wud say Shahrukh is doing Great , The way he gave his watch to Guggi ji it was just fabulous . He has always been an idle for me, the waty he struggled in his life. N now the way he tried to make guggi ji smile :) . i wudnt say tht i m a fan of Shahrukh , but i m planing to be :) . Hey Shahrukh Go ahead u r doing the best of what u can do n whatever ppl may say u r great ;) . U must hav heard this from ur great fans ;) .
